We stayed for a few days recently before boarding a cruise ship. We had a room on the 30th floor and had use of the executive lounge where we had breakfast and eats at happy hour. The menu was not big but surprisingly quite a selection of alcohol was provided. We were not given the option to have breakfast in... More

Since my cmpany refused to put me in a $250/night Marriott, the Courtyard Puxi was fine since it was under $100. I was skeptical since most of the time you get what you pay for. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel opened in Sept/Oct 2010, so everything was new. The rooms were modern and very clean. Bed was comfortable, internet... More

I have been traveling to China an average of 8 times per year for the past 7 years and I have stayed in MANY different 4 and 5 star hotels in Shanghai. I must say that my experience at the Courtyard Puxi Marriott has been my BEST hotel experience EVER in Shanghai. The hotel is new, bright and clean. The... More

Very new hotel. Modern, clean room. Nice exercise facility and pool. For a tourist, the location is not ideal but far a business traveler, they do an excellent job of giving a westerner a confortable stay away from home.

I spent 4 nights in a Club room at the Courtyard Puxi because it seemed like excellent value for its location, and I wasn’t disappointed. The hotel is quite new and stylishly appointed. Lobby, restaurants and common areas are elegant and modern, and the rooms felt large and open thanks to lots of light wood, clever concealed lighting and large... More

I got a good rate here for shanghai and it is a new hotel and i have no complaints about it. The room is very good and the bed is great. The shower temperature changes sometimes but I can live with that. The staff are friendly and courteous. It seems like they stole some design ideas from the le meridien... More

I echo most positive reviews. Excellent hotel and staff. Standard size room, very well designed except for the silly sliding white shade between the shower and the bedroom so you can not leave a light on in the bathroom during the night to find your way. Room had hot pot & ceramic mugs, small refrigerator. No bathrobes but a request... More

From Pudong Airport, it cost us only 7RMB each to reach Courtyard Puxi. It's so close to the Hanzhong Road subway exit 4, from which we could go all over town without having to get lost in a bus or taxi. Be forewarned: English is hardly spoken in Shanghai. It helped a lot that the hotel staff always did their... More

There were plenty of positive surprises that made for excellent value in this new hotel. Nor was anything sufficiently wanting to merit less than five circles. Normally it costs much more to enjoy the full benefits of an international hotel in a decent location. Best to take full advantage while this property is still in its prime. Rooms are up... More
