Marvellous location in the thick of all international fashion brands. Not to mention proximity to the night bars and the bund. Thumbs up! Only downside is the requirement to pay a substantial deposit which is the first time I came acroas.

A beautiful hotel right in the Shin Tan De area. Close to shops, cafes and parks. Room had everything and staff very welcoming. Received an upgrade which was more of an apartment and could have lived there. Would definitely stay again!

I spent 4 nights. Hotel not badly situated if you like Louis Vuiton, Sephora, Cartier... and Starbucks. No specific nice view as it is far from the river and the Bunds. Rooms large but old style, slightly noisy. I was not impressed by the service nor the simple breakfast. Next time I will choose another hotel, just to benchmark.

Stayed for 6 nights for business - excellent location if your office is in the area and close to many restaurants/clubs/bars. However, the place is in dire need of a facelift; had stayed at Frasers Place previously but decided to give Ascott a try but am disappointed with the aged room interiors. Breakfast is hardly inspiring and the restaurant interior... More

I am on a business travel to Shanghai and having internet connectivity is of highest priority. Other colleagues of mine have stayed in Langham and they say service is awesome over there. I think is committed a mistake by choosing Ascott. Ascott quotes that its a 5star property but i suppose it should think twice before making any such statements.... More

Firstly, the Ascott is located in the shopping belt of Shanghai, very close to a subway stop. I love the convenience of restaurants and malls nearby and I could hop on the subway easily. The rooms are equipped with a kitchenette and washer/dryer which are really helpful for longer stays. There is only a restaurant but who needs more when... More

Thank you for sharing your stay experience online ! As a Serviced Residence, many of our benefits are focusing on longer staying customers. However, those benefits are certaily not a disadvantage for one-night stayers either, they simply may need them less. As your rightfully mentioned, for example a washing machine becomes handy only if the stay is longer. Then again,... More

My sister and I, with our children, recently stayed at the Ascott Huai Hai Road for eight nights. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. This is our third stay at the Ascott Huai Hai. We were, as usual, very impressed with our room. The level of cleanliness is always very high and the equipment supplied is very adequate. We... More

Thank you for having selected Ascott Huai Hai Road as your home in Shanghai! And thank you for your detailed feedback. It is delightful to know that you are so pleased of our services, and I have noted all 3points for improvement. I arrived early (about 8am) after a long flight from New Zealand. Was very pleased to check in early and pay a half day room rate so I could recuperate. The room was very spacious, good comfy bed, small kitchen. I found the noise from the street below can be heard from the room, but that's Shanghai! It's not far... More

Thank you for having selected Ascott Huai Hai Road for your stay in Shanghai! And thank you for sharing your stay experience on line. As your rightfully pointed out, we are located in the center of buzzing Shanghai, so some traffic noise is unavoidable. The rooms facing the park, JingLing-road side and rooms on higher floors are very quiet. Views... More

it's my first time staying at Ascott Huai Hai Road Shanghai. At the beginning, I just thought that the apartment is surrounded by luxury brand shops. But when I walked around the area, I found that there's a big supermarket - around 5min walk from Ascott, where i can shop nice ingredients and cook the dinner in my room. I... More

I got a suite room at Ascott, which turned out to be very convenient, although this time I did not use every equipment the room has: 200liter fridge, full equipped kitchen, washing machine, large TV screen and soundblast, comfortable bed, and all at affordable price. On the low side the windows insulation is not so great, so street noise are... More
