GOOD: Right across the road from the Shanghai Expo Center, this place is perfectly located for conventions. The Kerry Hotel, which is literally connected to the Expo Center, is nice but it's closeness means it gets overrun. The Himalaya also gets pretty full but it's not as bad. It's also easier to escape the rats nest of traffic outside the... More

This hotel is in near the expo so great for business travellers. Metro is outside just a short distance to get to other tourist attractions. There are many restaurants and massage centre near the hotel s well as a shopping mall. The hotel buffet is also very nice with wide selections of dishes. The room itself is very big and... More

Just wow! The hotel is a little out of town and the area not the most exciting but was well placed for my office base, and I was not at all disappointed - would very highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful room, incredibly comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom, excellent restaurant and food facilities too...10/10

It was indeed an excellent hotel, and very affordable. About 30 minutes from the town centre, and taxis are not that expensive in Shanghai. I would gladly stay here again, given the opportunity, if I had to attend something at the Shanghai Expo in Pudong

I stayed at this hotel again after a while and noticed the improvement of service and staff attidute compared to last time. Management is more visible and interactive now which made my stay more enjoyable. Inter Milan was visiting which was quiet amazing and fun. :) Thank you, keep up the good work. I will be back! For sure

The Hotel is just in walking distance (approx. 5min) from East Gate of the Shanghai International Exhibition Center (SNIEC). So it is a very good choice if you want to avoid the very very bad traffic after the show (no taxi at all after an exhibition, in particular when it is raining in Shanghai). So next year this Hotel will... More

Stayed 2 nights and slept 12 hrs both times. The blackout window blind helps! Free fast internet, good selection of tv channels, coffee making facilities. The room was big and spacious with lounge area with views and the best bathroom of all hotels ive stayed at

We visited Shanghai to participate a family wedding and had an option to stay at the Grand Hyatt. But since we love Jumeirah hotel and have a Sirius gold card, we decided to stay at Jumeirah Himalayas. That turned out to be a very bad choice. At check in everything was great. We had booked a Club grand Deluxe room... More

Very reasonable hotel with good facilities and location for the exhibition centre. Rooms are well setup and bathroom is excellent. Breakfast is great but restaurants are not mind blowing and are very pricey. Bar is a little sterile but across the road is some great restaurants and bars at a reasonable price.

    Staying in Century Park

    Neighborhood Profile
    Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.
