Stayed here for a week - fantastic location with a great bar at the top with amazing views over the Bund and Shanghai's financial district. Getting a taxi can be a bit tricky in the mornings - however the concierge was as helpful as they could be - even walking out onto the road to flag one down for us.... More

Had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Indigo for our Easter break in Shanghai. From check in to check out there was not a single negative thing we have experienced. A special thanks goes out to Julie the F&B manager which we happened to meet. Her and the team looked after us the entire time with a world class service.... More

This is a boutique style hotel close to the Bund and about a 10 minute walk to Yuyuan Garden. Nice modern lobby. Cool art and statues in the lobby and throughout the building. Rooms are well sized and my bathroom was huge -you can easily save water and shower together. The design of my room was tastefully done. My room... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Indigo Shanghai. After a long flight we were assisted at check-in by a very friendly and helpful lady at reception named Star Lu. It was the fastest checkin time I've ever experienced in shanghai hotels and her resourcefulness and knowledge of the local area enabled us to easily plan our logistics for the... More

A lovely boutique hotel on the Bund, I was impressed with the staff and service as well as the quirky decor in the room. It gave the feel of living in a loft apartment as opposed to a hotel which, when you are on the road for business, is fabulous. My only comment, and this applied to all the hotels... More

We were not disappointed with our stay in Shanghai at Hotel Indigo. We had a fabulous corner room shared by my husband and 6 year old daughter. This hotel has everything from a great breakfast buffet, gorgeous swimming pool, state of the art gym equipment to a pair of very relaxing massage chairs. Also - a must is a drink... More

Very cooperative and caring staff. Fantastic view of the bund and Shanghai Skyline from the terrace bar and dining options and rooms facing the bund. Walking distance from the bund and from Cool docks where you have many more dining options

Hotel Indigo is situated next to the newly developed Cool Docks (Shiliupu), where one can take ferries across to the other commercial side of the Bund or take a 30min walk, along a nicely paved walkway, to where the heritage buildings of the Bund are. The walk offers many photo-stops by the Huangpu river without much jostling with the usual... More

I've openly praised Hotel Indigo many times in the past, and I still believe that it's a very good hotel. But during my most recent stay I encountered some disappointments. The main disappointment is that I spent 3 nights extremely hot in my room. There was no ability to control the temperature in the room, and the thermostat on the... More
