Well... its cheap! So if you need a cheap nights rest I guess you are fine. However, being there on business I found the food horrible. This hotel is popular with students attending the nearby East China Normal University. I also saw some businessmen at this hotel, but this is not a hotel I would chose on my own. We stayed at the Kaibo for 4 nights as part of OAT extension trip. Hotel is nice enough,but it is located in industrial area far west of the city. For "free" time, it is not convenient to public transportation and difficult to get a taxi. No local places to eat. Hotel restaurant serves very little in way of "western" breakfast.... More

Kaibo Hotel, also known as Kaibo Express Hotel, situated at 658 Daduhe Road (Daduhe Lu) in Shanghai was without a doubt the worst hotel experiance we have ever experienced.
