Was recommended to stay by colleagues who stayed here five years ago. This is not a four star hotel as advertised--maybe four star by China standards but not International metric. Time has taken its toll while Pine City rests on the laurels of the Jin Jiang Hotel chain name. Unattentive reception and surly front desk check-in, soiled carpets, no cold... more

We stayed at Pine City Hotel while on a business trip to Shanghai. The decor and service were good. What really made the hotel enjoyable for us was the little coffee shop inside the hotel. They had great coffee, fantastic pizza, nacho's and panini sandwiches. Not the type you usually get in China but real western style. We found out... more

This is a very good hotel for business travellers who want to stay within a stone's throw from the city. There is a pizza hut and Mc Donalds not too far away for those who miss the comforts of iternational fast food. Other local restaurants in the vicinity.
