Was upgraded to Executive room upon arrival and I'd say there's nothing much to complaint about. staff were friendly and everything is good. But if you are thinking of booking this hotel other room, do think twice

We stayed here for 3 nights which more than served our needs. Got an upgrade to a suite with a fantastic view of the bund. The suite was tired looking but clean. The location was really good and price was excellent. One really big downside and that was the bed. We both like hard beds but this bed was more... More

Stayed for 4 nights - through Gate 1 travel. First room was filthy - dirty stained carpet and chairs. Given another room after a lot of haggling; somewhat cleaner. Very small rooms for two people. Breakfast room carpeting: absolutely filthy. Steps to the entrance of hotel: also filthy. It is by no means a 4 star hotel. Front office staff... More

We travelled with Gate 1 and this was the hotel selected by them. What we like most was that it was very convenient to the Bund (4 blocks) and to Nanjing Shopping (less that 4 blocks). The room was fine, with free wi-fi (you leave a deposit which is refunded). There was a free bag in the closet, which I... More

We stayed at this hotel for 20 nights. This place was amazing. For the amount paid, this was an awesome stay. Booked through HotelClub and got a good discount also. The location is not central but is still a good location as it is close to most central places. It is only a few minutes walk to the Nanjing Road... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights for our first leg of our china holiday. After a check in at 8:00pm we were greeted with hostile staff who had no interest in servcing us. After standing at the desk for 10 mins we were finally served by the staff and asked to provide a credit card for deposit (fair enough)When... More

We stayed one night on day of arrival and was given a upgraded room. It was huge. When we returned from Beijing, we stayed for 5 days. Both non-smoking rooms. Rooms were very clean but mattress was hard. We stayed at 3 hotels in China and all were hard , so I guess that's norm. Breakfast was not worth it.... More

I was staying there around 20 of Nov. Stuff friendly and nice, room was good, but things like towels were old with wholes and also bathroom looks clean but sink with rust and walls with cracks. For 4 stars i guess they should change towels sometimes.. I paid 450 for two bed bedroom per night. Had a nice view from... More

Hotel is within walking distance for shopping, the bund and people square, great views of the bund and amazing lights of the buildings. Room was nice, could have done with new carpet and new silicone on bathroom tiles, bed was hard (some may like this) overall the room was clean and furnishing very nice. Free internet in lobby but does... More

This is not a 4 star hotel but it was clean, safe, quiet, and in such a great location, it makes up for anything it lacks. The rooms were clean, smallish, but had anything you needed, including a personalized "Welcome" message on the TV when you first turn it on which was a nice touch. The lobby was fine, pleasant...
