Good staff, room comfortable, very good breakfast with a good view. Left early in am but take away breakfast not very good. Wifi in room free but need to leave a deposit for modem (easily done). Free wifi in lobby. Took a cab for river cruise, very reasonable. Look for 3rd elevator, glass walls and runs up the outside of... More

Average hotel by Western standards, although the location was good. Close to the Bund where you could walk downtown along the river. The room was relatively clean with enough space, however the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was OK with plenty of choice. Overall the staff at the hotel were very unfriendly and unhelpful, am not sure... More

If you are staying at this hotel or have stayed recently and used your credit card, check your statements. Husband's credit was used fraudulently luckily credit card company was on the ball and declined all transactions.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and of adequate size. The hotel itself is clean and centrally located. Minibar extremely expensive, absolutely ridiculous. Rooms booked over the internet, as often in China, came at a big discount, but they then try to hit you over the head with a cricket bat on mini bar prices, breakfast (not included), etc. When I arrived... My stay was short but I enjoyed it. I was upgraded to the executive suite so that did make my stay a lot better. The lobby is a little lacklustre and is missing vibe. You can tell the hotel needs a little make over. Other than that, I was very satisfied with my stay. Also very close to Nanjing road... More

We got here and the electricity in our room didn't work. When we called the front desk to get it fixed they hung up on me three times with no explanation. The fourth time the said an electrician was coming. It was the cleaning lady who helped as much as we did. I asked to be moved to another room,... More

I booked this hotel through Agoda for a 5 night stay. The room was great. Very clean and spacious. The hotel is in a great location. The service, however, is not en-par with a 4 star hotel. The staff members weren't very friendly nor helpful. But all-in-all it was worth the money.

While the location is good, the reception staff manager was very rude. Did not treat us as welcome guests. Our room was small but with adequate facilities. Bed was like a plank. We had a dinner on the 17th floor but it was very disappointing. Our choices of wine were white (which was only available warm) and red wine wasn't... More

We stayed at the Bund Riverside Hotel in Shanghai. The hotel is a good price for the quality. The room was large, clean, all the amenities you would require. When we checked in we were given a room on the 16th floor overlooking the Bund and the only issue was the King bed, it was very hard. The staff were... More
