Location is wonderful you can walk to the river and main shopping area. You have to do the walk at night....beautiful lights in Shanghai. Our room was large overlooking a river, very nice for the price. We had the breakfast buffet each morning included in our package. Plenty of food. However Staff did not clean tables quickly so if you... More

location is good. everything else is very basic. The restaurant is unclean and untidy, and they even charged a 4 year-old for breakfast! Never happened ever before in any other hotels. Really stupid and greedy restaurant, and very expensive! Don't eat there!

This hotel is very near with the river..and also quite near from Nanjing east station exit henderson Metropolitan (near Forever 21)..you can just walk 10 minutes to the hotel. The room is quite nice, and great value for the price we paid..I chose Twin bed,and it's quite big enough.. For shopping,if you want something cheaper, just walk across the river, you can find Qipu... More

Stayed in room 1307. Filthy room, stains on walls and furniture. Foul smell comes up through bathroom air vent. Stayed for two nights this week. After a long flight and day sightseeing there was no chance to relax due to a jack hammer going for an hour in the late afternoon. They are renovating the 18th floor until September so... More

This hotel is in a great location. The room was a bit small but it was enough for two of us. We were on the 15th floor and we had incredible views of the city. It's also really close to the bund, nanjing st and a metro station. Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately like others here, the reception was very cool to say the least. I was sent to a room that was already occupied! And after traveling for 24hours, I was not happy. The room itself, when I finally got one for myself, was very nice with lovely views. Glad of the warning regarding the complimentary water V's 12rmb water. Good... More

Only 5-10 minutes walk from the Bund. This hotel is value for money. I stayed in a Superior Room and it was huge and very comfortable. Chinese Restaurant was nice but didn't have a lot of customers and didn't appear to be set up for many either - still had a nice meal and good service. Beijing Road isn't great... More

We had reserved a superior room (from floors 8-16) with a city view. When we arrived at the hotel, we received our room key ( on the seventh floor ) and receptionist said that we have a" VIP room". When we went to our room, it turned out that we had a deluxe room ( poorer than superior) with no... More

This hotel was recently redone and is in excellent shape. The views from the river-view and bund-view rooms are spectacular. If your room is located at the front of the hotel on the street, there can be noise from car horns until quite late in the evening. However, the view is still amazing. Breakfast is quite good. There are Western... More

This hotel was perfect for what we wanted, warm (it gets cold in Shanghai and we had just come from Thailand), centrally located, and had amazing views of the city at night. Its not super plush but in decent shape, clean, and reasonable sized rooms and bathrooms. Great if you're on a mediocre budget and wanna be close to everything.
