My wife and I stayed here for a few nights last year and were very pleasantly surprised. The view from the room was spectacular! It was very close to everything you would want to see. For the price you won't find a better hotel. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in shanghai. I asked the front office staff to mail about 15 postcards. The gentleman said he would mail it out for me. I gave him money and my friends never received my post cards. Very disappointed. Overall the stay was decent. Rooms need renovations but definitely a great city view

I am staying in this hotel (executive room 17F/ room 1702) while writing this review. I have booked an executive room with Bund view. Arrived by taxi with heavy luggage, the lazy bellboy watched me trying hard to climb up the many steps to the hotel door instead of coming down to help taking at least one of my bags.... More

We were part of a tour of 43 people (22 rooms). We were warned by our tour guide to avoid the room water with blue tops (green top bottles in bathroom are free blue top bottles in the bedroom are 28 RMB - go figure). At check out 6 of the rooms were presented with disputed additional charges ranging from... More

I would go back. Was on a group tour and only just now realized it is pretty inexpensive (about $60 for a room with 2 beds.) The location is very good, interesting local neighborhoods on way to/from Bund and Nanking Rd. Ex: Foot (also body?) in sort of back alley on straight walk from hotel to Nanking - don't let... More

Within 10 mins walking of the subway station, a major shopping area & 15mins walk to the Bund, so location was fine. The room was fairly small, but the bathroom was nearly the same size again Had a great view looking over Pudong. Furnishings & fittings in the room were worn, the bed mattress certainly needed replacing Found the room... More

The only positive point about the hotel is the location of it. The rooms are dirty, the floor's condition is lamentable, the cleaning is superficial. The staff is impolite. The wifi is slow and only available in the lounge. Altogether there are only three chairs in this place, to use the internet. If you try to sit in the bar... More

Fantastic view from the room of Shanghai city. Recommended for couples. Central location to all attractions. Lobby area needs renovation but room condition is acceptable. Reception staff has limited english proficiency but made effort to assist us in every way.

Arrived late at night ,, only to have front desk say there was a "water leak" on our floor so they sent us to a sketchy hotel down the street. Not at all impressed . However,, the bell boy brought us to this hotel and picked us up first thing the next morning... Bell boys were great. Front dest wasn't... More
