one word: TERRIBLE! We stayed 4 night there. The hotel was booked by travel agency. The staff das not speak English (other language forget it). Only one person in the concierge was friendly and with small English knowlodge. Reception noone can speak English, breakfast personal the same. Breakfast personal are very extra shameless and answers back to the gest. (With... More

Lovely room, excellent bathroom. 5 star at 3 star price. Tea and coffee making facilities and free wifi. Please remember that there is absolutely NO Google, Facebook or Twitter in China, anywhere. Great breakfast and friendly counter staff, most of which had good English skills, but in the dining room no one spoke English.

We could not fault the facilities and cleanliness of the room and the breakfast was very good. However, there was no bar to relax in at the end of a busy day sightseeing. There was an area in the lobby which served coffee and some drinks but it was small and had a very limited choice of alcoholic drinks. We... More

Large Hotel in outskirts of Shanghai, five minutes walk to metro station so very convenient to reach the city centre. Not much else around except for small supermarket. Large room with good facilities, Restaurant pretty good for buffet breakfast but no bar which was disappointing when nothing else near by. Concierge was very helpful and spoke good English.

Stayed here for four nights at the end of our Wendy Wu Magnificent China tour. It is a large modern hotel with excellent breakfast choice. The rooms are large and clean with everything you could need for a short stay including iron. The main issue is that the hotel amenities list a bar but there is no bar in the... More

This is indeed a grand hotel, with a stunning entrance. It was the best hotel on our tour of China. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. Service excellent, great variety for breakfast including smoked salmon for the first time in China. Room large with comfortable beds, but could do with more drawer and hanging space. Kettle, tea (black... More

Stayed there for 2 nights room clean but stale smoke smell. Nice complementary toiletries and slippers. Free wifi in reception but couldn't get it in bedroom.breakfast nice but had to search for bacon and eggs as cooked away from main area. Had a drink in the bar and service was slow to say the least !

I stayed here two nights. Service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious. WiFi was strong. The pool was fun. The staff helped me arrange taxi and other affairs I had scheduled. I loved the view from my 15th floor.

When you enter the lobby, you are wowed by the decor, which is absolutely gorgeous. But upon entering the room, you immediately see that there is not even one draw to put your clothes in. And the closet is very small so there is not even a decent amount of hanging space. Even worse, the lighting is so bad that... More

Average at best. Location too far away from the action. Room was non-smoking but the room stank of smoke. Wifi is free...but had trouble getting it in room. Pool average..and yes pool cap is required, but if morning laps are to be endured just take a shower cap with you. Breakfast was all over the shop. Dining room abit like... More
