Was in Shanghai for a exhibition and our travel agent had booked it since it is close to shanghai new international expo centre... Check in was quick... The staff at the reception can speak English and they are friendly... But was disappointed with the rooms... Size was very small... The rooms were dusty too... Breakfast was most disappointing... Check in at 01.00AM and the receptionist only can speak little English. My room looks very similar with Ibis in Harbin with the fiberglass toilet. I don't know whether this is the new standard for Ibis in China. However, the room in this hotel is dirtier, seems like they just clean it in a minute. Surrounding this hotel there are... More

Room is usually small like in all Ibis hotels. But even it is small it may be clean, but not - lot of dust, easy to find staff hairs. Air condition is not working for cooling, temperature outside is already warm, so warm in rooms too. Staff is friendly but seems dressed in clothes from home. Amazing and strange. Breakfast... More

Good for short stays because of its location (close to 2 shopping plazas) and low room cost. The rooms are simple with basic necessities/commodities. It's next to a school, so it was noisy. Pillows weren't too comfortable, only local tv channels worked, limited (but cheap) breakfast.

Staying in Century Park

Neighborhood Profile
Century Park
Shanghai residents see Pudong’s suburbs as the place that grown-ups retreat to when they’re ready to settle down and stop living in the cramped confines of a refurbished lanehouse. The areas around Century Park are some of the most desirable as they are in close proximity to the Metro Lines, granting easy access to the heart of Puxi. The park itself is a huge draw, it’s one of Shanghai’s biggest and there are sports fields tucked into one of its corners, but five-star hotels, museums and great malls make life in the Century Park area easy for the homesick foreigner. And if living in a Western bubble in China isn’t your thing, there is plenty of local flavor to be had in between the major development. Some of Lujiazui’s futurism can also be seen in buildings and sculptures throughout the neighborhood as well.
