The room was very poor - it did not match the pictures that are here. You have to wonder if there are multiple standards for rooms in... More

The hotel offered what I needed,,. A place to sleep. No wireless and since I only brought an iPad this was not convenient. They did have taxis waiting for me when it was time to leave in the mornings but finding the hotel was not easy. My taxi driver got lost.

Staying in Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang

Neighborhood Profile
Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang
West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities. While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
