My wife and I recently stayed at the Jinjiang Inn (The Bund) in Shanghai. It was easy enough to find walking from the train station. The location is excellent, less than 10min walk from the Bund and the main shopping streets, with tons of decent restaurants, convenience stores, and fruit markets in the immediate vicinity.
