3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2015

We stayed in this hotel for three nights, it is close to a metro station which is very convenient. Breakfast was okay, but basic. The rooms smelled like cigarettes and the isolation is not good at all. We had a view on the street, which caused a lot of noise in our room. The location of this hotel is good.... More

My family traveled to Shanghai and stayed in Jinjiang Inn for one night. The rooms are decorated properly and well cleaned up. There are the beds of truly king size which can accommodate my couple with two kids. A good hotel for family trips.

This is a fine hotel and I can recommend it to fellow travelers. Clean, well kept, comfortable rooms (if sparse). Rather like a well-kept Holiday Inn in the States. Recommended.

Staying in Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang

Neighborhood Profile
Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang
West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities. While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
