“Be careful, you could fall in love and never leave!”

I went to Fiji for 2 weeks and stayed here for my last 5 nights... To be honest I wish I'd gone straight to maqai, I could have easily spent the entire time on this beautiful piece of paradise. Stayed here a few times now and love it.great people and a beautiful island paradise.surf is fickle though and can be a long wait to get a surf in.... but its a fantastic place to just relax on a hammock and read a book or 2.food is ample and tasty.the staff are very very cool and very helpful.just a beautiful... “"So much fun, peace and love"”

We only spent one night at Maqai, but it was the perfect end to our 3 weeks in Fiji! I really liked our tent (with flush toilet and shower), its position 25 feet from the beautiful calm cove and lapping waves. We originally reserved to rent Nanuku Island (managed by Maqai) for a month long honeymoon but ended up spending close to a week at Maqai do a cyclone the prohibited us from traveling.
