Very small but charming island. Three nights would have been sufficient for us....honeymooners may enjoy a longer stay. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Biggest snag is poor quality food at prices that do not reflect the product you get. If stuck on an island with one eating spot it is like being held to ransom. Restaurant should concentrate on what it can... More

The island is beautiful and very small, you can walk around it in 20 minutes. The snorkeling the fabulous and there is sailing and kayaking as well. The pool is ok, but there are so few sun lounges, that it is best to go down to the beach in front of your bure. The food is a disgrace, breakfast is... More

Spent a week here, enjoying temps around 28-30 degrees throughout, with a sea breeze making it very pleasant. The island is commendably child free (there is a lower age limit of 16). You can laze all day looking at the stunning views of ocean and islands, or take one of several trips arranged each day. We went to 'Castaway' island... More

My husband & I stayed here 2 years ago in a Beach Bure but decided this time to "upgrade" to one of the new Villas. It was the best choice we made. They are stunning. You have a Gazebo/day bed and your own plunge pool. Steps lead down to our own little bit of beach shared only with the other occupants... More

We just stayed here for 3 nights for a short honeymoon and unfortunately we left the island quiet unimpressed. There are many beautiful aspects of this resort such as: The scenery - its just stunning, it would be nice to visit at a time of the year like September where its not so cold and windy but isn't too hot... Diving and Fishing a short boat ride away. Snorkeling right from the beach with beautiful coral and lots of fish. Great food and friendly staff a short walk from you private Bure. Enjoyed the spa and the pool. Fabulous sunsets. Will go there again. This is an adult only resort.

We had an amazing week here at the start of June. We were in a beach bure on the sunset side which was perfect! Wonderful views and private but still close to everything. Yes there was a couple of repairs needed but only cosmetic and we didn't care in the slightest. The beach was absolutely amazing and we had no... More

My husband and I visited Matamanoa for half our honeymoon. We loved the beauty of the island and the hospitality of the staff. The water was crystal clear blue, and had amazing snorkeling just outside the bure. We stayed in a bure on the sunset side (bure 15) which was much better than the sunrise side in my opinion. It... Absolutely fabulous stay the spa and resturant especially but the accomodation and facilities also are great. The Island is quaint with this the only resort. Excellent snorkling off the beach and nice goat trail climb up the hill with great views. The only slight anoying things were the construction noise and smoke from their fire, but this was minimal. The... More

Matamanoa was fantastic. The staff made us feel very special & were exceptional when one of our party fell ill. Their warmth and kindness made a difficult time easier to handle. The food was good with plenty of it. Great theme nights and the singing was amazing. A great resort.
