We stayed in November last year in a 2 bedroom garden bure. Good size rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. The air-conditioning wasn't very grunty which made it hard to sleep when it was so hot but the ceiling fans helped. It was great having the kitchen facilities and we did cook a couple of our own meals with ingredients from... More

Bula Thanks for your comments. For the sake of future visitors I'd like to explain your comments on food. Firstly, we are a family owned and operated resort and unlike corporate properties integrity is important. Our food is not expensive. Confirmed by checking menus on our website. We make no apologies for using imported meats and gourmet ingredients. But that... More

We stayed at Musket Cove for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The Lagoon Bure was large, modern and quiet but still close to the resort amenities. The staff were gorgeous, happy and very friendly which made us feel very relaxed and welcome. We arrived during the cyclone but it soon cleared up and it was picture perfect. The... More

Speaking as a retired travel industry employee with nearly 40 years experience, this is by far is the best beach vacation I have ever experienced. The facilities were outstanding, the staff impeccable and the food unforgettable. My wife and I stayed at an Island Villa and it was without flaw. We were there in March 2015 and felt that the... We stayed for 2 nights in a Garden View Bure (59). Originally we had booked for 3 nights, but we had to leave a day early, due to Cyclone Pam meaning ferries were suspended for the next 2 days, when we were scheduled to leave. The Garden View Bure is ok, but I would recommend getting the beach view bure... More

Bula Thankyou very much for your observations and feedback. Some valuable information. Firstly I'd like to point out that we proudly promote Musket Cove as a 4 star Fiji Island Resort. We have no visions of grandeur and hopefully deliver a very honest value for money Fiji resort experience. I say this because sometimes comparisons are made without taking into... More

Beautiful island, great location! Super friendly staff, doesn't matter if it's the reception, restaurants, bar or even the maintenance guys are all very nice peeps. We had the lagoon view apartment, nice rooms, simply decorated with very nice view. Oh, and they have Pure Fiji shampoo, shower gel, lotion etc, very very NICE! The little supermarket are the most helpful.... More

So many things about this place were spot on. It's exceptionally relaxing, the pool is awesome and and the food at dicks place is excellent and well prepared by the friendly NZ chef. I liked the guest drinks offered by joe the resort manager who is very friendly just like the rest of the Fijian staff. The bbq packs for... More

Bula and wonderful to hear you enjoyed your stay, again. But wow I must have certainly disappointed you. FYI, my life is my staff and I have a wonderful relationship with my entire team. Yes I may have been guilty for growling at someone on a rare occassion. But guess what, It's hospitality and sometimes this happens to achieve higher... More

We stayed here as a couple with a young baby. We had a fantastic week. The rooms are beautiful with a private plunge pool. Highly recommend the meal plan. I had the lamb rack a couple of nights which was just absolutely divine. Just don't tell my cardiologist. Our small daughter Georgia had fun with the staffand the staff made... More

My husband, teenage daughter and I have just spent 12 days at this resort and could easily have stayed another week! The staff were always smiling, helpful and very pleasant. The Lagoon bure was very comfortable, nicely decorated in Fijian style and spacious enough for the 3 of us. The cookie jar being refilled daily at 3pm was a real... More

Greetings from paradise. It's another magical day on island today. Thanks for your kind words. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Our average stay is 7 nights so menu choice may get stretched over 12 nights. However I do take your point and have passed your comments onto our chef. For potential guests we have 3 theme night buffets each... More

I decided as me and my girlfriend were in Fiji, to treat her to a few lovely nights on a remote island just off the mainland. I said that as we were unable to have a nice dinner on Valentine's night, we'd treat this as our valentines weekend. I looked around all the Mamanuca Islands and also the Yasawa islands... More

Bula Thankfully Trip Advisor allows us the right to reply and defend such an unbalanced review. Firstly, if and when we slip-up I am the first one to raise my hand and apologise. Over the past we have received some excellent feedback on how to improve and all credible feedback is taken extremely seriously. You called the resort 22 times... More

This is my second time at Musket Cove in a year and it keeps getting better. There is nothing to fault about this place. The Beach Bure are well equipped and the food is of high quality and there are plenty of options to choose from. The staff are warm and welcoming. Best part is it is only one hour... More
