We spent almost a week at Malolo with a 3 yr old. While our own stay was somewhat limited as we ended up all recovering with a range of colds which impacted on our ability to do things we still ended up with an overall positive impression of the resort. It is very nicely set up and very well maintained.... More

We stayed here in June 2011 - yes, review's a little late - and it was amazing. We have previously stayed on the South Coral Coast and anything that the mainland has to offer does not compare. This was truly a tropical paradise. We locked all electronic devices in the safe and enjoyed world class snorkelling from our door step.... More

We stayed 5 nights after 7 at the Shangri-la travelling with our daughter, son-in-law and grandsons 6 and 4. It is fair to say that this was a great place for a family to relax and have a wonderful holiday in a facility which is virtually brand new. The staff go the extra yard in a relaxed and naturally friendly... More

Prior to spending 7 nights on the other end of the island at Tropica Island Resort, I spent 3 nights back here, this time with my daughter and son in law and another couple ( now close friends) who I first met here with my other adult daughter in November 2011. We arrived about 7:30pm by water taxi and still... More

We went on a day trip to Malolo Island Resort. It's a 2 hours boat ride on the South Sea Cruises Catamaran from Denarau Marine Port. The cost is F$209 adult and F$ 195 kids, that includes a 2 course lunch meal. We went by five other Islands including Castaway, Mana, South Sea etc. before arriving at Malolo. Had a... More

The resort is in a beautiful location. However there are a number of issues which make this an average stay: 1. Food - limited variety amongst the 3 restaurants with Treetops being the best but no children allowed. The quality of the food in the buffet restaurant is particularly average at best. 2. Kids club - our kids usually enjoy... More

This was our first "resort holiday" ever and we could not have chosen a better place than the wonderful Malolo Island Resort. There were 15 in our group from my 79 year old Mum to my 6 year old niece and all ages in between. There was something for all ages - kids club for the younger ones and plenty... More

We stayed for a week just recently at Malolo Island Resort. The Bures were great bright clean and well laid out, all beach front. The snorkelling off the beach was fabulous and we really enjoyed the kayaking. We did a day trip to Plantation and Musket Cove which was a nice change. Went fishing one morning and caught a Wahoo... Before I review I have to admit I spent many weeks researching the "best" family island in the Mamanucas before we booked our trip to Fiji....and I wasn't disappointed! Malolo is a great resort for families with young children. The kids club is fantastic (day trips to see baby turtles, coral viewing and school visits were a highlight for our... More
