We had a terrible experience on Beacomber island as my partner and I were both bitten badly by bedbugs in the 110+ dorm, despite sleeping in separate bunk beds. The Island itself is great and was actually one of my favourite in the Yasawas. There was plenty of watersports if a little overpriced. The buffet food was actually really good... more

The staff here are wonderful and the beach/water's gorgeous. Very small island, can get a little stir crazy (and I only stayed 1 night!). Many people who go here are very young and seems like its the first time they've ever been out or traveled. Made the mistake of staying in the big dorm, where at ~3am some drunken idiot... more
