This is a VERY expensive resort and what you expect to be delivered in terms of customer service, friendliness, food and overall satisfaction should surpass no other. This was NOT the case. In our opinion Anyone looking to spend this kind of money can do much better elsewhere We are seasoned travellers and have had no cause to write a... more

We stayed at Wakaya for 11 days for our honeymoon in May. We'd just had a fabulous if hectic wedding and were looking for a piece of paradise to relax, with good food and activitities. After having done a great amount of research Wakaya seemed the place. How I regret that decision. Myself and my husband have stayed in some... more

If you like adventure and like the feeling of being at a place that few get to see, then this is the place for you. The island itself if gorgous with amazing views and on sunny days it felt like paradise. The island is filled with wildlife that you just don't see anymore roaming freely around the island. But don't... more

This is the most fantastic place we have ever stayed. Had a second honeymoon here, and could not have asked for anything better. Every meal was spectacular, activities were freely available and lots to do, and the staff is what made it so memorable--they are the warmest, most genuine people in the world. Definitely recommend it for a special occasion--it... more

This was for our honeymoon. We spent a long time choosing location for this honeymoon and also stayed in Vatulele and on the main island. SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO expensive. You would expect to be treated like royalty and have amazing rooms and food. We did not feel that at all. The rooms were clean but basic and certainly not "wow". The food... more

We stayed at Wakaya as part of our round the world trip. We have also stayed at many 5* hotels and this is definately one of the best. Food was delicous, even if you did not fancy something on the menu nothing was too much trouble for the chef/kitchen staff. Very peaceful and relaxing. We had the best time anyone... more

The Wakaya Club had a beautiful website, promised 5 star treatment, so we booked a week there for our honeymoon this upcoming September. However, they botched everything so badly with reservations and billing that we decided that larger problems must be on the horizon, and decided to cancel with them and switch to another resort in FIji. Here is the... more

The Wakaya Club. Okay, how do I begin? First, I think this property is probably the BEST facility in all of Fiji. It is welcoming and private and intimate. There are only nine casitas and the caliber of the guests is top notch and respectful of others' privacy. As a result, some of the most wealthy, influential and famous people... more

Hello, I went to this hotel just before they were going to change bathrooms because they were too old... I dont know if they made a really big, big change on everything but when I went that is what the hotel needed. We paid a 800$ for the plane from Fiji airport to the island. The small and old plane... more

WOW! We had always dreamed of a trip to Fiji, and ultimately chose Wakaya Club over Turtle and many others thanks to the air conditioned bures. (villas) Most other ultra exclusive resorts in Fiji - Turtle Island and Vautele - lack airconditioning in their villas. Upon arriving at the airport about 5am, we were escorted to a private hanger and... more
