the title should say it all. Ths place had a very strong smoke odor and I was afraid to even shower or take off my shoes. The price was too high and for just a few more $ you can stay down the street.

I am usually careful about choosing lodging through TripAdvisor reviews when we travel. In this case, we ate at a restaurant near our destination and found a coupon for the Quality Inn in Pell City, AL for only $55 a night (excluding taxes). So we decided to give it a try, after all, the name had QUALITY in it. Unfortunately,... More

We came to this hotel expecting the TravelCoupon rate of $55+tax and was not honored. Ended up paying $83. We were told all the rooms available for this rate were full. Didn't seem that way, as there were only a few cars on the lot. We decided to stay because it was late, and we're traveling with kids. Linens, towels... More

This is a basic no frills hotel. The price was right and close to Talledega Race Track. Front desk was very helpful and pleasant. Was thrilled we could bring our fur baby along. Very reasonable cost for pet fee. Breakfast area had plenty of quick easy food. Location was perfect..... Within walking distance to Waffle House. All in all clean,... More

This is what I would expect from a Quality Inn. Nice clean rooms, good service and a surprisingly good breakfast in the morning. There is plenty of parking and with the hotel tucked back off the main street, it is nice and quite. A good place to spend the night while on a trip.

The price was certainly too much!! I have yet to stay at a Quality Inn that was decent and this one is no exception. The first room had a disgusting odor and the towels were frayed at best. They had the audacity to charge $80.00/per night. Please travel just a few more miles for better accommodations.

I don't mind pet friendly hotels but, if you develope a flea problem it's ok to treat the room/rooms affected. BUT do not book the room and sell out the rest then put someone in the room full of freshly sprayed chemicals. I tell you the front desk could care less about the fumes. The worst guest services dept. I... More

I secured a great rate through a discount website and checked in without any problems. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. I was disapointed that there was not an elevator since I had a lot of stuff for my four day business trip, but I was given a room close to the stairs. The next night, when I returned... More

I got a quote for the AAA rate from the toll-free number (but made no reservation) a minute before walking into the "lobby". The front-desk clerk came in from her "smoking break" and quoted me a AAA rate $12 higher. When told of the discrepancy, she declined to make an adjustment. I then called the toll-free number, and booked the... More

My wife and I used the Quality Inn for an overnight stay with our two dogs on our road trip to California. The rooms were clean and very conmfortable. We have stayed here before and it is close to the interstate and and a good price for the accomodations.
