We booked this hotel for Nascar, so we were pretty lucky to even get at room a week before a race. We paid $133/night. Nonsmoking room smelled of stale cigarettes, killed about 50 ants on vanity - ring of sticky substance on countertop, bedding looks like we may not be the first people to sleep on it. Some friends and I stayed here for the nascar race weekend in Talladega. Prices were up everywhere but we got a great rate considering the prices of other hotels in the area. My husband and I booked a room here because it was close to Oxford Lake Park, to our surprise the Staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable. Should we ever have to travel to Oxford again, this is where we will stay. more
