If you're looking for quaint, cosy, convenient, slightly quirky and absolutely delightful, then this is the place to stay. My sister & I needed a short getaway and ORH was just what we needed. We were in the Romar suite which is very roomy and absolutely lovely. The breakfasts were amazing - something different each day (granted we were only... More

This b & b really deserves all the praise it gets. Deborah and Greg were extremely helpful to us Brits, the breakfast was excellent and the evening get together enabled us to get to know other guests. To have a small, cosy b & b so close to the beach works very well and we had a delightful time

I was surprised how built up Orange Beach is. I would have loved to see it a decade or two ago. That said, the Romar House is a delightful B&B with easy beach access and good breakfast. The common areas are so welcoming that we just stayed in on the one stormy day. Some days we stayed for the convivial... More

Definitely stay here on your next vacation to Orange Beach. Its got a great location right on the beach. Plus you couldn't start your day much better than with Greg and Deborah's breakfast, and the Purple Parrot Bar is nice in case you need a refill throughout the day! It is truly an excellent stay.

I'd like to thank Deborah and Greg, they very friendly and accomodating, and the breakfasts they prepared were amazing! The house itself is surrounded by a high rise on one side, a large private home on the other, and new construction in front, which obscures the beach view somewhat. We stayed in the Mardis Gras room which was small but... More

I have been visiting here for years, even before Greg and Deborah took over, and I will be back again and again! Talk about southern hospitality; I always feel right at home! If you want a sense of community, you've got it. If you prefer your privacy, you've got it! Beautiful, peaceful location, good food, EXCELLENT hosts. You couldn't ask... More

Greg and Deborah were the perfect hosts-Breakfast each morning was to die for, the inn is beautiful, all the guests became fast friends right from the start. The beach is beautiful after a quick walk on the boardwalk. Its the kind of beach we were looking for..not crowded..dunes, shells, dolphins and QUIET! I highly recommend this B&B Leigh

As a single traveler, I spent 3 nights at the Original Romar House and feel rested and rejuvenated! Thank you Greg and Deborah for understanding the balance in availability as hosts and privacy needed that many bed and breakfast managers fail to get right. I enjoyed our great conversations at wine hour and breakfast. It was nice to have the... More

This was the best choice we made on our recent trip to Pensacola and the Orange Beach area. We stayed 2 nights and will definitely be back. The reception was very welcoming and the amenities are great. The house is very clean and well kept up. The house is very comfortable with its own bar, pool area and easy access... More

Just now getting around to writing a review for our stay during April 2012, and everything was absolutely perfect! First time to visit Orange Beach, so I literally spent days researching the internet and happened upon this B&B (I refuse to stay in a high rise). We selected the cottage which offered a full kitchen and gave us additional room... More
