We stopped here in July, 2009 for one night on our way to New Orleans. Got a very good deal on Priceline. I can understand some of the concerns about it not being the best neighborhood, but they are doing some construction and may be rehabbing the area. We never felt unsafe. Its a typical Courtyard by Marriott conveniently located... more

Nice, clean hotel...just what you would expect from a Marriott brand hotel. We booked our room on priceline for $50 + tax (I think it came to about $65) The room had a mini-fridge, but a microwave would've been nice. Nothing fancy, but good for a night's stopover on a trip to the beach. The only problem we had is... more

We stayed at this Courtyard for a quick overnight drive-though trip. The room was a good deal ($89), especially since we only planned to sleep, eat breakfast and leave. We weren't sure if it was reassuring or alarming to have an armed security person at the side door we used; probably reassuring given the neighborhood. And, since the hotel is... more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for a couple of nights in September 2007. By way of comparison, I would rate it a notch below the Birmingham Courtyard Hotel, where we also stayed. The room smelled slightly moldy and the walls are very thin. Basic breakfast buffet, with not enough space to sit when busy. Perhaps a 10-minute... more

This hotel was a great place to stay. I was in town visiting a family member and the employees at this hotel made my stay as accomodating as possible. The guest room was clean and newly remodeled. The bathroom was spotless. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. more

This hotel has an attractively designed outdoor setting area and pool. The rooms were fairly large and newly remodeled. While front desk staff was not overly friendly they were pleasant and efficient. The hotel is definately not worth the published internet rate, however at 45.00 a night it was a steal. more

I am a travel agent and recently stayed at this Courtyard property as a stopping point on the way to Pensacola. The hotel is very convenient to I-85. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff, as check in was very quick and seamless. The room was nicely appointed and clean. Our room overlooked the courtyard and pool area.... more

We recently stayed 3 nights at the "newly renovated" Courtyard by Marriott on Carmichael Road in Montgomery. First let me say that we are Marriott Platinum Members and stay at hotels approx. 7-10 nights a month, and are frequent Marriott Courtyard guests, and have come to appreciate the little things that make a hotel stay memorable. First off, the front... more

The hotel room was a good size but please do yourself a favor and demand a room facing the courtyard. Our room faced the outside and the patio door opens right up onto the parking lot.. no balcony or anything! I don't see the purpose of this as you can't even leave the door open or anything. Also cars park... more
