Had a blast in Skyview. The DJ was cool and the bartenders made us feel at home. We were able to walk to dauphin Street to check out the OK Bicycle Shop....good stuff. The hotel room was great. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are soft. We tried the breakfast...all was the yummiest

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown while attending a dance competition at the nearby Civic Center. For events at the Civic Center, you can't beat the HI's location - it's just a quick walk a couple of blocks. Overall the HI is very nice and the rooms were pretty comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was a split design with... More

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well kept. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable if you like softer mattresses. There is parking on the perimeter of the hotel and a parking garage right across the street for an additional $7.00 a night. If I was rating this hotel soley on the... More

This hotel has the best and most convenient location if you are participating in Mardi Gras! The parade passes on three sides, and it's walking distance to the Civic Center where the balls are held. We really enjoyed being able to catch the parade the first time it went by, then go up to the Skyview Lounge on the 17th... More

My FAMILY has been staying at this hotel for 15 years. This is a great family environment and to see the review below complaining about children running around is hilarious. This hotel is very conducive to families and one of the reason we love this hotel. It is safe for the children to be watched as yes, they do run... More

My group gets 32 rooms on the fifth and sixth floor during Mardi Gras for two nights. I assign certain people to certain rooms to be close to their families and close friends. The Holiday Inn usually does a good job of keeping these assignments in place, but when people start asking to be on a lower floor due to... More

This was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel! As soon as we opened the door, there was an awful smell in the room. My husband stopped me before I was able to walk inside. We were moved to another room which still had a bad smell but it was tolerable. The pool was closed. Disappointed, as... More

Thank you for posting your comments. I am very sorry that you did not have a good stay. Our outdoor swimming pool will open in April once the weather is just a little warmer. I am very sorry that you experienced an odor in your room and that the water pressure was too great. We will certainly investigate and monitor... More

Whatever you do, don't stay on the 5th floor. This floor is taken over by a pack of wild children and their partying parents. They literally put a stereo system in the hallway and blast music day and night. They let their children run circles around the floor with no adult supervision. Many times the children ran straight into myself... More

I cannot apologize enough for the unacceptable behavior you encountered. We certainly did try to control our groups during Mardi Gras; that did not work out so well in this case. I may not have personally apologized during your stay but I am truly sorry. We will be better prepared for next Mardi Gras by minimizing the noise and rowdy... More

After spending 2 hours waiting in line to check in. We were greeted with loud music in the hall, drunk adults, children running wild and trash all over the hall. After asking the children not to run in to us and not being able to get to the elevator button the parents became upset. From this moment on we were... More

Thank you for your review. Mardi Gras is an exciting time in Mobile. We are truly sorry that you did not enjoy your weekend. We take security very seriously as we had three police officers working with us each day of Mardi Gras. I am disappointed that you had conflicts with other guests. Sincerely, Lisa Castagna, General Manager More
