It had been a year or two since I last stayed at the Mobile Homewood. The last time it had started looking dated and old. But on my most recent stay (March 2008), the property has been remodeled and everything was excellent. The service was fast, the rooms clean, and the breakfast great (although crowded!). We used Trip Advisor to find this motel, and all the positive reviews were right. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful accomodations, and when I gave my AAA card, excellent value ($97.00). This is the third time I've stayed at this Homewood Suites property, and it doesn't disappoint. Clean premises, well managed, efficient & welcoming staff. Quiet, tree shaded property surrounds the hotel. Biggest problem is availability - it's such a winner it's hard to get a room!! more
