Got your attention? Good- because, as a conservative Christian couple we LOVED this place- and Stephen and Enoch were absolutely wonderful hosts. I think I know what another review meant by "not for conservative Christians"...baloney...no matter what you believe, we are ALL broken people and no-one can cast stones- I sure can't. Stephen and Enoch were so knowledgeable about the... More

I love this B&B! It's nice and quiet, the rooms and decor are lovely, Stephen is very sweet and very informative. My husband and I stayed here for our 1st anniversary. We had been here2 yearsprior after we got engaged and it was wonderful. The pool is amazing, the garden is always beautiful, and the breakfast is outstanding. Stephen always... More

Great location, room was comfortable, nice big pool and hot tub! Quiet place with comfortable bed, and delicious breakfast. Man that runs the B and B was helpful with area and places to visit! Only two complaints, and reason for no 5 star, bathroom was in need of renovation, really just the shower, which the innkeeper told us on checking... More

This place was exactly what I was looking for - a charming, quiet B&B within walking distance to Mobile's restaurants and historic district. I love that they had a pool too! The first night we stayed in the poolside bungalow, which we enjoyed because it was so private (it's separate from the main house). My boyfriend and I got the... More

Stayed for an anniversary with the wife. We stayed in the outdoor bungalow. The garden is a slice out of key west, hard to believe this is government street. The house is lovely and well kept. Stephen, the innkeeper was a pleasure and I recommend you follow his dining recommendations. The rate is unbelievably low, and the included breakfast was... More

Well worth the 5,000 miles and 3 airplane journeys to get here. Everything as described, lovely comfy house. Stephen very knowledgable and gave us plenty of tips for visits, meals etc. I am now a convert to grits thanks to Stephen's lovely breakfasts. If we ever return we would love to stay there again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Berney Fly B&B very much. It was our first trip to the deep south (we're from Michigan) and it was nice to have a host who was knowledgeable about the history of the area. Stephen, our main host, was also able to recommend to us many different nearby interesting spots that... More

My husband and I spent one night here on our way to New Orleans for the Jazzfest. It was a pleasant interlude, with plenty of walkable touring in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed walking to a locally-popular restaurant for dinner. The B&B breakfast was quite delicious. We were disappointed that the Jacuzzi is not heated, but the pool deck is absolutely... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night as part of our Deep South road trip. Steven and (the man whose name fails me) were wonderful hosts. Steven told us so much about America, Mobile and his life, which made this a really interesting and enjoyable stay. We felt very welcome. The room was pleasant although the pillows could... More

I literally can't explain how much I enjoyed staying at this little bed and breakfast. The room I stayed in was nice and cosy with a clean bathroom attached to it. The location of the B&B is about a ten minute walk from downtown which for me was ideal. Steven was the perfect host in recommending me places to go... More
