I took a chance after reading the reviews because it was so close to the civic center and the reviews seemed mixed. The bathroom was filthy. I have a family of five and not much grosses me out , but the bathroom was disgusting. There was hair and dirt all over, cockroach legs ( 3 of them ...which makes me... More

We booked here for 2 nights, just to give ourselves 1 day in Mobile between bus journeys. We chose this hotel simply because of the price, and how close it was to the centre of Mobile / Dauphin Street. We arrived early evening, the female on the check in desk seemed a bit negative but it might have been the... More

This hotel serves best as a crash pad during Mardi Gras. The pillows and bedding was comfy. The breakfast offered a good variety, too. It needs some updating and the light and sound-proofing needs a lot of work. The room had lots of stains and items that need maintenance, but were mostly clean. As we were there only to change... Stayed here for the First Light Marathon. I didn't have to worry about late checkout since I stayed two nights, but they weren't giving it to anyone including Choice Reward members. Call this place before you arrive to make ensure they honor or don't honor the Choice Reward benefits. Rooms were worn and the bathroom needed work. But is was... More

You get what you pay for. We got a great price on our room at at this hotel and the location was close to where we wanted to be. Our room was okay but it was not cleaned properly before we got there. There was water in our ice bucket (I'm assuming it was melted ice from previous guests) and... More

First off, it's a 2 (TWO!) start hotel, so don't expect it to be a 5* Hilton (like some reviewers think). Definitely worth the price - about $200 total for 3 nights, when I could have stayed at the other downtown hotels for $200 per NIGHT. Needs a little cleaning - door had scuff marks, some of the tiling in... More

I stayed here two nights. It was off-season. I reserved a room using the choice.com website. I asked for an upper floor away from vending. My request and expectations was met in that reqard. Most Quality Inns, being a bit older, have a bit more space when compared to the newer Econo Lodges owned by the same company. This one... More

Desk clerk Sarah is rudd with aa attitude and lies with that mouth us hers. Our guys been there a week for work and has not once have their staff changed the beds empty trash and still have to ask for towels and tissue. We have been to lots of motels and this one is the WORST I've ever encountered.

Good hotel with awesome rates in a perfect location. This Quality Inn have one of the lowest rates in the Mobile Downtown historic area. Good parking space. Clean pool. Fresh rooms. If I'm send to Mobile again, I will stay at the Quality Inn again.

Stayed at the Quality Inn Downtown Historic District as a student attendee of a congress being held in Mobile. The location was the redeeming quality of the hotel. The advertised special student rates turned out to be much higher than rates that could have been had by not disclosing student status, and rooms were very dirty. Although some staff were... More

Thank you for your feedback of our hotel. We are constantly looking for ways to improve upon our guests experience and welcome any suggestions; positive or negative. Please note we have nothing to do with the rates offered to the students attending the congress. Rates are subject to change without notice in the hotel and airline industries, but in this... More
