When we got there, it was very noisy. We were greeted by a very drunk hotel clerk. I don't think he was on duty, but he was still in his work uniform and hanging around the office. I asked about the noise, and he told us there was a 'Distinguished Women's Pageant'... (translation an obnoxious loud sorority sorority convention).... At... More

We noticed when we checked in that the office had an odd smell. The room had the same smell. Kind of like a restroom smell, and not a good one. The lady who checked us in was nice. We asked for directions to the downtown square and she told us she just recently moved there and didn't know, but she... More

I have never reviewed a hotel. We have been travelling around for nearly three weeks and this is the first hotel we walked away from. The smell in the first room was so over powering my youngest would go in, if you like the smell of mould then it's fine. There was mould in the bath tub. The second room... More

This motel in excellently situated. It has a pool and the rooms are spacious and clean. Very helpful staff. Free hot & cold breakfast was acceptable. Would stay again. Reasonable price. There is a outside pool. No fridge in our room.

I took a chance after reading the reviews because it was so close to the civic center and the reviews seemed mixed. The bathroom was filthy. I have a family of five and not much grosses me out , but the bathroom was disgusting. There was hair and dirt all over, cockroach legs ( 3 of them ...which makes me... More

We booked here for 2 nights, just to give ourselves 1 day in Mobile between bus journeys. We chose this hotel simply because of the price, and how close it was to the centre of Mobile / Dauphin Street. We arrived early evening, the female on the check in desk seemed a bit negative but it might have been the... More

This hotel serves best as a crash pad during Mardi Gras. The pillows and bedding was comfy. The breakfast offered a good variety, too. It needs some updating and the light and sound-proofing needs a lot of work. The room had lots of stains and items that need maintenance, but were mostly clean. As we were there only to change... Stayed here for the First Light Marathon. I didn't have to worry about late checkout since I stayed two nights, but they weren't giving it to anyone including Choice Reward members. Call this place before you arrive to make ensure they honor or don't honor the Choice Reward benefits. Rooms were worn and the bathroom needed work. But is was... More

You get what you pay for. We got a great price on our room at at this hotel and the location was close to where we wanted to be. Our room was okay but it was not cleaned properly before we got there. There was water in our ice bucket (I'm assuming it was melted ice from previous guests) and... More

First off, it's a 2 (TWO!) start hotel, so don't expect it to be a 5* Hilton (like some reviewers think). Definitely worth the price - about $200 total for 3 nights, when I could have stayed at the other downtown hotels for $200 per NIGHT. Needs a little cleaning - door had scuff marks, some of the tiling in... More
