We went for a 1N2D stay in Malacca from Singapore. Pros: * The location is superb. A few steps away from museums and church hill. it's in the middle of all the red buildings. In fact it's also red,. * the breakfast was okay * it's under 100sgd Cons: * the bed sheet have stain. I actually have to use... More

The hotel is great, it is very near to the jonker street, just about 5 mins walking distance. Due to the location, it is very busy and noisy. There is a restaurant and bar at ground floor with music till midnight. The room is clean with slight odor detected. Most of the room equipped with queen bed, and quite clean... More

This was the first hotel we stayed on my virgin visit to Malacca few years back as recommended by my ex colleague. We didn't drove but took the malacca express bus from Singapore. It was easy to locate as the bus stop was just nearby. Location was perfect for those who are not driving. Can't remember how much we paid... More

CNY 2013. I paid 215rm and took for granted the Pictures and the 3 star rating. This will give you a picture of what I am abt to say. I was there with my wife and young kid and booked the superior room, cause I thought it would be a classy place not yet not too expensive for Melaka. I... More

The location of the Aldy Hotel is perfect, right in the center, next to the tourist attractions and the nice Chinatown. The restaurant on the ground floor is very good, but a bit more expensive than others. Anyway the quality and taste of the food is great. There you also get a good breakfast set (some dishes for choice). The... More

Positive: Room is clean and spacious. Set breakfast is included. Good location to main attractions and just beside the police station. Very near to Jonker Street. Elevator is available so you don't have to worry about carrying your luggage. Staff is efficient (our toilet room was fixed fast). There is a bistro at the ground floor with live performance at... Good points: good location, breakfast included. Bad points: extremely noisy air con, noisy street=lack of good sleep, grim-looking rooms, mouldy bathroom tiles, awful breakfast. Also make sure you bring your own toilet paper. This hotel has a roof-top jacuzzi. Well, it a concrete cased jacuzzi on a roof that has no setting other than a shower stand. Would not recommend.

On arrival after a long journey we were told we could not check in until 2pm. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was average with a choice from several set menus eg. orange juice was a watery cordial, a buffet would have been better. The best thing about the hotel was its location being in easy walking distance of the... More

This was the second time that we have stayed at the Aldy Hotel. We must like it. It is very well located near the old section of town near the river. Bukit St. Paul and all it offers are just across the road. Most of where you want to go is in easy walking distance. If you want shopping malls... More
