I stayed for 2 nights in a double room on the third floor. The room was lovely with a good sized bed and was nice and clean with AC. The shower was a little too short ( I am 5ft 10) so I had to duck down! The hotel is in a great spot, close to Jonker walk for the... More

Great location to shops and Jonker Walk but furniture and bathroom require update. Unfortunately, noise is expected being located in convenient place busy of tourists. Staffs are friendly but breakfast choice is limited.

The hotel may look a bit old but it is a decent hotel for a night stay. There is free wifi and breakfast at the cafe in the morning. There is many museums around the area if you are into museum. It is also quite near the shopping centre.

Staff were pleasant and unobtrusive. Hotel and rooms were old but adequate and the most important thing was the air-conditioning worked. This was essential after hot days exploring. Remembering this is in Studhuys so is central to the Heritage Area and the Historical Buildings which are the reason you go to Malacca in the first place. Yes, I would stay... More

Was a bit worried on reading some poor reviews, however decided to go with it for the location. Well, NO REGRETS! Great place! Pros: - location location location! You are in the middle of the action, 3min walk to Jonker, 5min to the shopping centres, 3min walk to the fort/ christchurch etc etc ... - awesome to stay right under... More

the hotel is situated right in front of the hilly carpark to the stadhuys building. it is so convenient that you can just park your car and walk all the way the whole day. you may hear the merry sound of the trishaws' big radio songs but that won't affect your sleep (well, it works on me :)) there's a... We considered between 2 hotels and decided to go with Aldy Hotel as it was cheaper. Also i stayed there on my first few trips to Malaca. the hotel was renovated and the basic amenities were provided. Hotel sits between the shopping malls and jonker street which is a major plus point! Take note that the insulation is not very... More

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 5 years and have enjoyed all our stays. This trip is the worst experience ever. We were looking for the regular faces but were dissapointed. According to the reception staff, there has been a change in the management and I assure you that the change has been for the worse.... More

This place is all about location. Short walk to the mall, short walk to the river, short walk to Jonker Street. Stayed at Family room for the 4 of us. Spacious and comfortable. Normally would have stayed on Jonker Street itself but no regrets in choosing this place. Room located on the highest floor, looking at the police station. Noise... More
