1. Staff I thought they were working for government. Very unhelpful, nonchalant and as someone already pointed out more interested in charging us for the minibar than our comfort. Poor english too had trouble communicating. Definately did NOT expect this with the price I paid 2. No elevator!!! No elevator to 2nd floor and no one tries to help with... More

It's located within walking distance to the historical buildings - The Red buildings, Jonker Street, A'famosa (3 mins walk) and also next to the boat ride jetty. The Hard Rock Cafe is just stone throw away from this lovely cocoon. The room is clean and acceptable size. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is actually an old building converted... More

Hotel right on the river has been done in an industrial style. Saying that, the staff were very helpful and polite and is ideally situated by the night market hence the noise from traffic and loud music systems from the rickshaws. I agree with other reviews that it is a little overpriced but fine for a long weekend break.

Overall, the hotel is ok. The location is great as it is walkable and near all the Heritage attractions place. The rooms are clean and give u nice chill out view by the river. Reception is very helpful and friendly. My drawbacks are the breakfast is not the best variety offered, as I was expecting a little more with the... More

I was appointed for work outstation at Malacca for 11 Days and were given this hotel for my whole stay. At first, it was a pleasant stay at this hotel. Mainly because, this hotel is nearby to few attractions such as River Cruise,Jonker Street, Th Stadthuys building, Taming Sari Tower, Mahkota Parade etc. All of these places can be done... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as it is near Jonkers street where the food and night market is located. I was unpleasantly surprise that the front desk can't communicate in English well. When we called them to find the direction, they couldn't help us. Finally when we found the place, it was sparsely finished and as expected so is... More

This hotel is a modern conversion from a storage building that has been very well done right on the river. First impression is that it's very dark inside as it has been done in an industrial style, the rooms are a little small but are adequate, sadly we couldn't get a balcony room but read on the website that there is... First of all, ask for a balcony room on the 1st floor. Take the ground floor room only if you are sure there's no one staying above you because it will be noisy due to thin walls. From outside, the hotel looks impressive. Modern looking building. The view from the balcony was really nice, overlooking the river. However be prepared... More

Make sure you get a balcony room. The walls are a little too thin, but otherwise the place is clean and well maintained. The deco looks good. Limited breakfast buffet breakfast. Overall, it is a little overpriced for local standards, however you pay for the location and you get to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by.
