Everything is right at this hotel. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean, hotel interior great for picture taking, great location, you name it, they definitely got it. We got a room with the balcony facing the river/ hotel Casa del Rio (room number 209) and spent the whole night at the balcony. The only negative part of this room (#209)... More

We spent two nights in here. The location is excellent, in just walking distance from major attractions. The rooms are excellent with all toiletries and super clean. The rooms are not too big but they are just fine. Interiors are great. Staff is friendly. The area of improvement can be only the breakfast. Its just very basic. It costs RM20... More

Booked two rooms. Location near to Jonkers streets. Parking space however was too few a lots, and very insecure. Staff were polite, breakfast was inconsistent. First day was good and localized favorites but second day was terrible. One of our rooms' air conditioning was not working properly, and was hot and stuffy despite puffs of air currents omitting from the... More

Stayed there a night for a short getaway. Was looking for a heritage boutique hotel. Found this instead. Convenient location, squeaky clean and great service. Just don't get a room to near the lobby, can be slightly noisier in the morning. All the attractions are just a wall away. Modern inside though so if your looking for a heritage 'feel'... More

Stayed one night at the Gingerflower, Lovely space - clean, fresh and white. Great location just off the main street so you can walk everywhere. Rooms are small but you are out in the streets most of the time - Melaka is amazing! The gingerflower is good value for money. Breakfast is lovely but basic, and you will probably want... More

We stayed here for just one night the first weekend in June, occupying two rooms on the ground floor. This was a last minute booking, and we were so glad to get the 5 rooms our group needed. Unfortunately, one of our group members was taken ill, and couldn't come. Gingerflower graciously allowed us to cancel the room at the... More

A wonderfully clean boutique hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Great location just off the main strip. What could have made this a Great stay was if the windows were somehow sound proofed.
