Mio hotel is a brand new hotel. Nothing especial, no charm but clean and large rooms. The labyrinthine corridor is tricky, to reach out room we had to turn couple of times. Easy to get lost. LOCATION The hotel is located just outside the downtown area. Which makes it a bit more affordable but also less characteristic. ROOM very generous... More

Nothing more than an anonymous hotel. The room are clean but unfortunately our was without windows. When you book ask for a better airy room. The staff does just they work nothing else. If you have to stay one night could be good

Front office staff is not friendly, not even a smile from her. We reached at 2.40pm, need to wait until 3pm at lobby to checkin as the checkin time is 3pm. I am fine with that. She even raises her voice when we ask why our room is not ready yet. But seeing latecomer get their room first, it really... More

I booked this hotel because of the reviews I read. I'm very disappointed. The hotel is further out of the centre than you would like. Booking a hotel you do nowadays by reading reviews. As you normally wouldn't know a city you would expect the information would be correct. Anyway once in the room I found an old carton of... More

Mio Hotel is a small, clean and efficient hotel. Service is agreeable, but definitely I would not say it is a Boutique hotel. Rooms are very small but clean, and the air con is in good shape. Breakfast is mostly Malaysian with some basic western coffee and toast + cereals. For a one night stay in Melaka it is an... More

Melaka is an all time favourite gateway for holiday even to local people, the traffic toward Jonker street( the busiest street where most of attractions and restaurant can be found) heavy as always. Mio Hotel is located at shoplot not too far from Jonker, 4mins drive or 10mins walk. Tourists walk to Jonker then ride trishaw back to hotel to... More

We reached Mio about 330 in the morning. Staff was still smiling despite our late arrival and very patient as well as it was late and we were in a mess. Check in was a breeze! Room was your basic room, clean and in order. No windows though in ours, I reckon due to our late arrival. Wasn't a big... More

I went there with my family members during one of the weekend. The stay was an unpleasant one: - The signboard of the hotel was misleading. It was "Seven Days xxxx" instead of "Mio Boutique Hotel". We thought our GPS had brought us to the wrong place until we asked the workers around the construction site. - The parking was... More

The place is well situated just outside the old town. Just a little difficult to find as there is no big sign - looks for Hotel7DaysInn big sign Room is clean, modern decor and as per picture and we love it. Jonker street is about 15-20 mins walks - it will probably take longer time to drive there. 7-11 at... More

The room was very comfortable and clean. The sheets, pillows and toilet were all clean and they provided the necessary utilities in the room. I stayed there for a night in their single-bed room. Location wise, it's near 7eleven and its pretty near to town (ie jonker). I was very happy with the place !
