Right near jonker street and China town, this hostel / guest house is great for budget backpackers. 45 rm for a double room with big windows and king size bed, mosquito net and a small table + chair. Showers and toilets are good and clean. Free bikes, chill out common room with nice tunes on, book swap, and they offer... More

This guest house was a great find in Melaka. The dorms were clean. Each bed had mosquito nets. The water was hot. The place when I was there was run by three friendly Nepalese guys. They have good advice on the city and recommended the cool, budget places to get drinks and eat. They provided free drinking water. It is... More

We came to Malacca not expecting to do much and lay low before Singapore. We found this hostel and it's amazing! So friendly and welcoming, really can't expect more from these guys. I couldn't pay for a meal because I ran out of ringgit and Season (his FB name) paid for it and have us vodka and wine! Great guy,... More

This hostel is split between three properties. 1. The Cafe where you pay your bill and can use their computer if you buy a coffee. 2. Suma Suma - just around the corner, has rooms and a kitchen with cooking facilities. 3. The property 4 doors down with a dorm. 3 showers, two toilets and the dorm has around eighteen... More

No staff to give information or help, no tourist information (maps/leaflets), communal area dirty and shabby. Room small - single bed, no window, light so dim a torch is needed to see, shared toilets very basic and unpleasant. One night here is plenty long enough. Plenty of nicer places for same money or cheaper along the river.
