Nice ocean view with pool facing ocean also. But during MCO, the gate to the sea is locked. There are litters on the beach which should not be there. Some parts of the resort need maintenance. For Myr85(including tax) during weekend, it is worth it

Not what I've expected..the lobby itself is so scary, it looks like you have entered an hunted places..my 4yrs old daughter cannot sleep throughout at night..keep mumbling during her sleep..the light on corridors keep on blinking, even the room too...but the pool and the view is great though..my husband booked online for rm120, but when we get our room key, was told to pay rm150..this will be our first and last visit...

The resort booking is managed by so many parties that I got confused. There are banners that display MYR88per night. However, when I got there, the gate entrance was manned by some men who charged me MYR190. Since it was already late, we had to take it.

The room was dirty. There was no hot water and astro. The toilet leaked and the spare bed is only a single mattress.

Just go look for another place or maybe the other rooms are better.

Hotel is comepletely deserted. There are no staff to attend to you after eight pm. The check in counter was a makeshift table in the basement car park. No exaggeration but you can't even buy a can of coke in the premise as the whole hotel has shut down already.

So what you are getting is actually a room owned by some private owners who is trying to get some money back. I stayed for two nights and there were no housekeeping staff at all.

I will never ever go back again. Stay there at your own risk.

I got the place from one of the online booking website. Got the direct owner. On the phone never inform me anything. Once I reached the place I was shocked. Rundown unmanage place but yet the owner wants to rent put their place at a very high price. Dirty surroundings, dark staircase no lights no elevator, we got to climb 3 stairs up with our luggage. Book for 2 days paid in full. Stay only 1 day owner refused to refund back my money. Dark parking. 60 units on our floor and we are the only family in only one unit..imagine that. Scary & vreeoy place even in daylight. Please beware of Mr Yu unit 360. He is a cheater. Never tell us the truth abt the place before we reached there.

Thank god I stayed in this hotel during the Chinese New Year and not during the Hungry Ghost Month!!!

The dilapidated hotel is indeed a perfect setting for a haunted movie...

Walk into the main lobby which is unused on the first floor and you will see cob webs forming on the tables.

This place must have been seen days of grandeur with its bespoke marble tiles and wooden spiral staircases... The lack of maintenance and crowd has simply turned it into a ghost town.

Management should work harder to upkeep the place!

It is simply scary to live here at night... Really wonder if anyone would dare to open the door should there be knocks on the door...

Overall, finishings within the room were also aged... Chairs had stained, bath tub does not have stopper, even the hot water thermal flask was badly corroded!

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment for 2D1N stay here. The room is clean and spacious as well as the stunning swimming pool even though the apartment runs down. My kids really loved it. Master bedroom got queen bed + single bed while the 2nd room got 2 single beds and a bath tub. The kitchen area was at the entrance but no utensils inside. Sofa & dining table also included with the flat screen TV. Overall, we really satisfied with the room & the pool. Room's price was cheap compare to the same apartment nearby. Very close to the beach & windy. Negative: Building not well maintain with scary passing by corridors with cob web & fading lighting. Lift also dirty and old but working.

Escape from there, this hotel is great pass time, but do know why this hotel closed and i'm stay there on 2014 December, after the hotel re-open. All the pass facilities need to rebuild such lobby, cafe, gym, etc. Very scary, many lights at corridor not functioning, from lift to room have to pass by many dark place infront of other rooms, feeling so scary and unsaved. If something bad happen nobody to ask for help because the environment so quiet, the corridor is so long and dark and quiet and dirty. Rooms condition old but ok, well furnished, useful, comfortable. Only feel good in room, but beds very itches. Balcony dirty.fridge function well and very useful. The best part ism room well design enough furniture and compartments. Once step outside of the room everything is terrible, dirty, scary, unsaved. At night can't sleep well, very itches, feeling so alone scare as most unit not occupped, hopefully the hotel can rebuilt back as last time I visit there,

I had been informed by the staff that everly apartment was same as everly hotel resort. So it was an apartment that some of the unit is rented. I know the standard of the apartment is not like a hotel. but please take note that hygiene is a priority for visitors. especially for tourists. I was surprised that my family caught many cockroaches inside the bedroom and toilet. not only that we found their eggs too. That was really unacceptable. I can't even sleep for the first night of staying. and the floor full of dust. Im not satisfied with the room. And my family and I were not able to enjoy staying there. We also found a towel hanging behind the window. It shows that their service very poor. I will never go there anymore. not recommended.

We just came back from Riviera Bay and certainly going there again. We went with our parents and our 3 year old son. The fact that we drove, there wasn't an issue about the distance from heritage sites, which is quite far. We enjoyed the serenity and away from the bustling city. Food during breakfast was good and finding food along the road near the resort was not a problem at any time. In fact, if you want to try home-cooked style local dishes, there are a number of food places along the road. However, if you dun drive, there's one nearest beside the resort.
If I'm not wrong there is also a shuttle service to Mahkota Parade(MALL) from the hotel. You can take that or call for a cab to down town.
There are pool tables, Giant TV showing the soccer matches, spa and souvenir shops within the hotels besides the restaurant and bar.
The hotel staff was friendly and the service was good! They replied to our booking very promptly and we find them a very helpful lot of people. They were very obliging to us whenever we called for certain things due to the needs of a toddler. Although the place looked a little old, it wasn't an issue for us because we felt very safe, comfortable and the suite suits our needs. It felt like home. The better part - when we woke up in the morning, the straits of Melaka awaits within our view! Simple and yet lovely!
