I just stayed one night in Melaka, but I heard and learned a lot from the host. She's so friendly and told me me a lot of history and nowadays story. As a solo traveler, she even hung out with me for dinner and walked with me for some tour spots. I had a nice talk with her since she... More

Room is very basic with just a bed, fan, small coffee table and a few door hooks for hanging clothes. But it is very clean. Bath rooms are shared but there are two so no need to really wait for queue. Location is excellent as it is within walking distance to Jonker. It is windowless therefore of you might not... More

If you pass by Malacca and need a place to stay, my advice goes for Kititto's .... The right place for the traveler that seeks, central location, fair price, cleanliness, a comfy bed, etc... Ken and Monica are the most welcoming, genuine, resourceful, hosts!...

The guy that runs this place is very nice, sweet, helpful and genuine. We enjoyed staying here for two nights because of him. We had a double room with A/C which contained a comfy and clean double bed, a dresser with a mirror and a bin. There is only a window that opens into the corridor so no fresh air... More

I've been travelling for about 3 months, and I can genuinely say this is the best guesthouse/ hostel I've stayed at. Fantastic value for money and a great location! The owner goes out if his way to make you feel at home, he even got my bus ticket for me and his wife drove me to the bus stop, because... More

I have been to House of Kititto in Melaka when I travelled in Malaysia this summer. The place is very clean, well maintained and is run by a family. The owner is very friendy, shared some good tips about going around. Since we reached the place after around lunch time, he even offered to have lunch prepared for us. The... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at House of Kititto over the Chinese New Year in 2012. Almost everything in Melaka was fully booked, so we were lucky to find space here. It was a basic room with two single beds and a fan (we would have preferred one bed, but it was our only option). The room itself was clean,... More

I planed to visit Melaka for just one day and I needed just a place to sleep. So I booked for just one night at Ringo's Foyer Guesthouse, which had some really good ratings, but something went wrong with the booking and they had no free room anymore. So the owner led us at the House of Kititto. It was... More

We're so glad we found the Kititto! After 2 nights at the Casa Blanca GH at twice the price, we got a RM 35 per night double fan room with shared bathroom. The room itself was small and windowless (windowed rooms are available but we wanted the quiet) but comfy and free of TV's. There are 2 large bathrooms and... More
