The location is good, beware of traffic jam during long weekend when both Singapore and Malaysia are having it together at the same time. It is near Makoata Parade & Palawan Shopping Mall. Jonker Walk is also within walking distance. Air-con not too good. Room is clean and ok. This year, they cut off breakfast and we have to go... More

Hotel is value for money. Near to the malls and within walking distance to Jonker Street. Wifi had improved much compared to last year. Water filter and cooler installed at common area which is a good idea for guests. Room is average, but was clean and tidy. Though basin was leaking when I checked in but was settled within 20... We stayed 1 night during the weekends. Room was ok, main facility was ok, but the aircond was bad and not cold even though it was reduced until 16 degrees. The walls were not that soundproof. A plus is that the Hotel is walking distance to Taming Sari and Dataran Pahlawan and A Farmosa. 10-15min walk. However, BEWARE of the... More

This is by far the worst hotel I have booked and I am a frequent traveler. Checked into a stuffy small room and that's only the beginning of our horrible nightmare. The floor needs some overdue cleaning and as it is sticky all around. Bed sheet is dirty and there is also a stench in the tiny room. Turning on... More

I stayed there last weekend. I booked two rooms in total. One family room, and one standard queen room. The family room is nice and clean, and the room look quite new, nicely renovated. However, I am a little disappointed on the standard queen room. The room is very small and very old. The room barely can fit two people.... More

With more and more new boutique hotels and new hotels coming up in Malacca, Venus is losing its appeal to me. The bad ventilation in the bathroom is still a problem after so many trips and feedbacks on Tripadvisor. My husband could distinctly recall and commented "its the same stale smell again" the moment we stepped in. We booked 2... More

It's easy to find the place and the hotel is quite nice that we get the nice room with free wifi. We can find many interesting places surround the hotel. the hotel is near malacca river and jonker street. The front officer are nice and helpfully.

I have checked in 1 night stay in the deluxe family room. The room has a fixed window (cannot be opened), it is fine as long as there is no accident happened. On the other hand, the environment of the room is quiet even though the building is facing a flyover bridge. It has a private car park (under the... More

Overall this hotel is quite disappointing. We paid 61 USD for a family room per night which is quite a lot for a small town in Malaysia. You’d expect better service and a clean room. But don’t get your hopes up. Cleanliness: The room was not clean by my standards. There was spillage (of coffee/tea) on the mini bar. There... More

This hotel is quite small but I don't like the interior design. It was sucks. The towel also not so clean so I didn't use. The one is good is the chair massage (1 RM for 15 minutes) I won't book this hotel again if I were go to Malaka.
