Traveled during weekend on year end. It is a School holiday/Holiday season. A lot of tourists checked in to the hotel and all the rooms are fully booked. I would say that they have good customer services and talking in the good manner. All your luggages will be sending to your booked room after the check in. I am satisfied... More

With it colonial facade it feel majestic. The hotel itself is modest sized but it makes up for it with superb staff, great rooms and big breakfast portions. It's located next to Little India, a short walk away from The Stadhuys, Jonker Walk, Hang Li Po's well. We were very impressed and left with smiles on our faces. We would... More

Its a nice place. Well maintained. But carpet requires change out. Place is within walking distance. Fast service and not bad value for money. Its quiet at night so we had a good nights rest. Could improve if they improve the amenities and facilities. Also breakfast was sufficient.

This hotel is cozy. The location is exactly within the old city most busiest trade area. Walking is best to view the heritage of the old city of Melaka and it only take minutes to Jonker Walk, Dataran Pahlawan, A Famosa Fort, Sam Poh Kong, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, St. Francis Xavier Church, St. Paul's Hill and many more interesting... Been here for 2 days 1 night. Location: good. Near to Jonker street and food area. If the weather not too hot, can just walk over. About 15mins walk. Looking for parking at Jonker is not easy. Service: Friendly staff. Always carrying big smile. Parking: huge parking lots Ambience: love the old design of the hotel. All white. Look elegant.... More

Just a little disappointed with the water in the family suite. It was brown and the heater didn't work at all.Was told that it's normal during rainy days. But on the whole it was nice and wonderful stay.

I stayed here from 3rd-7th Nov 2014. I booked the Windsor room as I was travelling with my family of four including my 8mths old baby. I had a nice surprise when I entered the room because they had beautifully decorated it for my birthday and there is also a nice slice of cake for me and my family. There... More

Welcoming staff were friendly and polite. Thumbs up for the front desk for this. Has its own private parking. The room was average and showed signs of deterioration in some part of the wall paper and no robes were present in the room. No swimming pool available and this limits family activities at the hotel. The Loft Cafe had only... More

The good stuff: Great location, not far from jonker street, modern concept which was maintained well, ample parking, great service - brisk, attentive, warm. So if your criteria are these, then by all means book this place. Now to the bad part: for the price however, you would expect facilities - still no gym, restaurant only operate breakfast nowadays, no... More

Had not been to Malacca in like 8 years. Its well worth the visit. Whoever is running the council is doing a very good job, the area around the river has been gentrified nicely. All the hotels were busy and we picked The Sterling as it looked a tad colonial ( sure that was the point ) where as Holiday... More
