Good value for money. Very basic but comfortable. Reasonable size room, good bed and cool. Relatively clean .. bathroom could do with a scrub to remove the mould, but in this climate it would probably be an everyday job! There is no housekeeping provided during your stay, which we didn't mind, but could be a problem for some.Location is the... More

We had 7 rooms as we were traveling as a big family. This is my second stay in Hangout in Malacca. Room is equipped with only towel and shampoo/shower dispenser all in one. You can get your water/tea/coffee located at the lobby. No hairdryer or water kettle in room. It is a no frills hotel. However, for travellers who are... More

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay there. Our room was on the 4th floor, decorated tastefully and equipped with a clean bathroom and fresh towels. It was pleasant. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They even gave us advice on getting around and where to go for the best chicken rice (located right across the street from... More

Stayed overnight in Malacca at Hangout @jonker and because of its very strategic location, I was able to maximize my time in the historic city. Everything is walking distance. It is right at the famous Jonker Street with popular eateries and souvenir shops within a few minutes of walking. The Dutch Square is also a few minutes away, just as... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and found it very pleasent. The room we got was at the top floor (4th) and was bright and clean with a great bathroom. It was close to the nice roofterrasse which is a great place to relax and see the sunset. The breakfast was a bit dissappointing, with only white bread with jam... More

The positives: Very clean and pleasant room, great security, excellent location, good aircon, desk in room, access to free tea and coffee 24/7, very friendly and helpful staff. My room was quiet, even though it is in the centre of a town which is lively at night and opposite Hard Rock Cafe. Check out the view from the roof. Hot... More

Room is very basic and clean, equipped with shampoo & body wash. No water kettle & cups in room. Air-con in the room is very powerful and water pressure is just as... More

We went for a family trip. Triple room cost RM218 per night. Wonderful location to Jonker street and nearby attractions with walking distance. Except you need Taxi for shopping mall cost about RM15 one way. Friendly and helpful staff. Just price a bit high as compare to others nearby guesthouse. Very basic room with towels and body shampoo.
