We stayed here in 2013 on our visit to Melaka in a family room with 2 queen sized beds. The rooms were very clean and comfy. As for the area is very quite at night except for the noise coming from a club near by. Breakfast was okay and simple. staffs were very helpful and kind. There was no refrigerator... More

In November of this year (2013) my wife and I spent three nights at the Queenspark Hotel in Melaka. Our stay there was a positive experience. The hotel is quite small, which we prefer, since it gives us a chance to get to know the staff and to be treated as people rather than mere numbers. The immediate surrounds are... More

Checked in late evening and be given a room without window at lobby floor. Air conditioner need to adjust manually for the direction of air and that was troublesome. Only can control the temperature. Up at the ceiling, there were mould markings all over it. Felt grossed when looking up. The food, not really good. Malay cuisine. Overall, ok la...

Friendly staff overall. The room was OK, when I finally found it - the layout of the floor is a bit of a labyrinth. I didn't experience any noise at all; the only sound was the whirr of the air con. However, small details made my overview impression less than stellar: A cup with clear lip marks on it (ewww...... More

The entrance to this hotel is nice, and very green. It was confusing to find our room 216, as there were no proper signs. The walkway to our room smelt smoky. I was quite disappointed that the rooms did not have keycard system but knobs. For the price we were paying RM 118 with breakfast was quite reasonable. Staff was... More

Melaka is dotted with a variety of budget inns etc. This however stood out, in my experience of budget hotels, in terms of cleanliness of rooms, toilet and overall look and feel. Pros - Stayed in a smaller room on the first night, which was literally a hole in the wall with no windows. However, it was still surprisingly comfortable.... More

I was in Melaka city recently for a business trip. I booked this hotel because every other hotels had been either full or not offering a promotion during that period. The location of this hotel is not bad, it's within 1 km walking distance from Mahkota Parade or Pahlawan Mall. There's no issue with eateries, there are plenty in Melaka.... More

Queenspark is a very basic hotel, with even the best (deluxe!!) rooms overlooking a noisy alley and building with air conditioners blasting out from every window. Nearby disco blasted until early hours. Breakfast is very minimalist with virtually no Western food items. A request for juice brought out a watered-down orangish liquid with little resemblance to juice. No fridges in... More

OK for one or 2 nights, if you are deaf. Staff friendly and helpful. Room OK but no fridge; ill-fitting windows.Breakfast included, (OK for veg with rice porridge daily.) Don't attempt to use hot water shower & aircon at same time. Result - big bang and no hot water or anything. Check list of room items & furnishings-make sure all... More
