This is a very pretty Straits Chinese-themed boutique hotel in the old part of the City. It is a charming building, comprising a maze of staircases, courtyards and quadrants. The location is good - situated on a charming narrow street in the old town, albeit its proximity to the Jonker market meant it could be noisy; these were not the... More

This boutique hotel gives you great quality, especially at that price. The lobby looks great, rooms are clean and mosquito free. The hotel is situated in the middle of the town, but still oozes tranquility. Breakfast is across the street, and lives up to Western standards.

We drove down to Melaka for the weekend and stayed at the Courtyard for a night as we were a little late booking hotels, so we had to stay at 2, the duration of our stay. It was a little 'staycation' and it's always nice to visit the old quarter. Courtyard is clean and beautifully themed as a Straits Chinese... More

We loved this small hotel - it is a very successful conversion of the old building, full of lovely touches: areas to sit with plants and a waterfall wall. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The room we had was lovely, cool and stylish with good wifi, and a little verandah with a seat. We were there for Chinese... More

The real problem is the windowless room.Although after a blast of Malacca heat it can be a good contrast to walk into a cool white room-a bit like walking into a refrigerator. The room I used showed signs of botched construction-sealed up power outlet and dirty grouting around the washbasin.Really all done on the cheap. Breakfast is taken across the road... More

Charming Peranakan style courtyard hotel in great location in downtown Malacca. Able to walk to all sights in Malacca from the hotel. Rooms were clean and staff very helpful. Breakfast across the road out the back of the silk shop was good and parking a godsend.

Stayed 2 nights in the Family Deluxe room at this lovely boutique hotel just off Jonker Street. The whole property has a Peranakan feel to it which adds to the local flavor & experience. Very conveniently located and within walking distance to the malls & tourist attractions within the city. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Loved the quaint interior... More

It is a small hotel, do make your booking earlier to prevent disappointment. The only room available for our 1N weekend stay was the family deluxe room. Without much hesitation, we proceeded with our booking. When we first arrived at the hotel, the reception sent a staff to bring us to the open car park behind the hotel, a stretch... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at Deluxe Room, my parents in law stayed in Family Deluxe. The building looks old but the rooms setting was really a surprise! Nice. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was pretty simple and reasonable, they serve cereals, eggs and some simple bread and noodles. The not so good part, mosquitoes in room, got bitten... More
