Are you looking for Old feeling? Yes, I think Cafe1511 is your answer. This cafe is a hostel which located in the center of Melaka Old Town. The building is adjusted from old style... More

Stayed in a Single bedroom, It was clean no bedbugs. Bathroom are shared but clean. It was very quiet at night, but actually they is a person stay in there just in case you need help, I didn't know that not until I was spoken with 1 of the guest who stayed at 2nd floor and my room is at... More

We stayed here for three nights. I am not sure we would stay here again. The positives are that it is clean, in a fairly cool building, and is in a good location near Jonker Street, close to restaurants and tourist attractions. Surprisingly, we were the only people staying here two out of the three nights. The negatives are the... More

I did not stay here but I came here for brunch with my boyfriend. The food here is great! Especially their snacks. Yuumz! Will try out their boutique stay the next time we're back here. Definitely a good place to have a short break from all the hot weather!!!

Popped in here after visiting the beautiful Baba & Nyonya house / museum. Fantastic menu & reasonably priced, traditional food, pleasant staff, lovely atmosphere & free wifi. What more you you want? Would definitely recommend and return for an evening meal (pity I missed the breakfast but I'd recommend that if you're hostelling locally. Good drinks and desert menu too... More

Went in only for food, and did not stay at the hotel. Ordered Chap Chai which is a distinctive local nyonya dish. They served a totally different vege dish trying to pass it off as the original one. Even someone not familiar with the dish can tell it's not the same, staff insisted it's only color difference.

After the Nyona museum tour we had lunch at Café 1511 which was conveniently located next door. The service was pretty good and food took about 10 minutes to arrive for all 5 of us. Food was pretty average but good value for money. We ordered mainly from the western menu - spaghetti and meatballs, spiced chicken wings and a... More

Terrible staff attitude! Was asked to "Just Go" when I told her off to be more polite when was told not to go up the second floor. Didn't notice any sign indicating the 2nd floor is out of bound, with only a sign indicating to take off your shoes before going up. Coffee was bland..

My second time stay. The rooms and washrooms were still very well maintained. I especially liked the cleanliness of the area which is probably not easy to find for the price paid for a guesthouse in jonker street. Assam Laksa was really good, and best of all, you don't have to queue like crazy for it. The only drawback was... More
