We stayed here July 2014, for three nights. It was a great disappointment as from the reviews and photos we had expected it would be lovely but it may possibly have changed management. We could not have the room we booked as some rooms were being fumigated, so we took the attic room instead of a room in another building.... More

I had inquired about a room here (as a walk-in) on a previous visit to Melaka but it was full. At the time I thought it looked really good, and was pleased to be able to secure a room on a recent visit. I think the guesthouse must have changed hands since I was last in Melaka. When we arrived,... More

My friend from Singapore chose this place, and even if it was a bit expensive for my Malaysian trip, it worth it. Clean, wide rooms, delicious breakfast and nice staff. Although our room was a bit noisy, because it was facing the street, so I needed my ear plugs...It was a good break from the backpackers journey ;)

The place is near Jonker Street. It can be a little noisy in the night especially when the trishaws go by. The place is clean and there is a staff at hand to make it clean. Was really happy that the staff allowed to give us an early breakfast as we were up earlier. Wifi is ok but you need... More

The food was bland. The laksa was bland. The pie ti was bland. The chap chye was bland. The kangkong was bland. The otak was bland. The lime juice was bland. The service was bland. It was a huge disappointment. Also the sign about free wifi? Lies.

We are food lovers mostly eating on street stalls or hawker places. Nevertheless we looked at the menu while walking by and decided to go for the popiah and the nyonya laksam. Prices were just slightly more than on the street and both dishes were extremly delicious. Def worth going there, even if u are on a smaller budget.

This is a great base from which to explore Malacca, located right in the heart of Chinatown. The 2 young ladies who run it keep the communal areas immaculately clean and are not afraid to enforce the house rules regarding what footwear can be worn where, in the interests of ensuring they stay that way! We stayed in the Otak... More

I was told by the staff of baba and nyonya house museum that I could wait for my friends while they toured the house at the cafe 1511 which was next door and belong to them. When we went in there and sat down ,we didn't want to order any drinks or food and was told we have to leave... More

We stayed here towards the beginning of January 2014 and I have to say that not only was it a great place to say in Melaka; but you wish you could take it with you. Where to start? The people I guess...we were so well looked after by Tutu and the gang that it really made all a difference. We... More
