Great location on a relatively quiet street, in a gorgeous old building with a very pretty courtyard. Unfortunately the evening/night guy seemed to know nothing at all about the area - didn't know what Kampung Portugis was, and couldn't direct me anywhere. Also left inside lights on all night which blazed into my room. Daytime staff (the owner?) were very... More

Malacca is one of a nice place in Malaysia but if you get a wrong place to stay then it might spoil your lovely holiday. Nice place not mean must be 5 star hotel but at least comfortable and can have good sleep. Layang Layang Guest house is our 3rd location to overnight for our trip. Layang Layng is located... More

Beautiful guesthouse located at Jalan Tukang Besi. Great Walking distance to Melaka Red House and Jonker Street... Rooms are washroom are clean. Staff are nice and friendly. However, the room's sound proof is really bad as the partition is made using plywood only. We can hear what next door was talking clearly. So if you don't mind the noises, it... More

Very near to jonker walk and the point of attraction. The room is simple, clean and cosy. The shared bathroom is clean, shampoo and body shampoo is provided. The owner /staff of guest house is very friendly and helpful. However, no towel is provided. You need to bring your own towel. Rental of bicycle is slightly expensive than other shop.

We stayed in Layang layang for two nights. The location is very convenient because its on a street parallel to Jonker and the street itself has some shops and temples. The rooms are clean and the toilets and basins are super clean. The guesthouse is built in a traditional way with the interiors opening out into a enclosed courtyard complete... More

If you're looking for no-frills accommodation while in Melaka, i highly recommend Layang Layang. The rooms and facilities are very clean. The rooms are basic but its comfortable - cushy mattress and pillows, all rooms equipped with both air con and fan. Bathrooms are shared but there are enough for all the occupants. I stayed while the place was at... More

I am a hygiene freak. . And I totally love this place. The bed and sheets are clean and comfortable, (better than the bed during my stay at Berjaya Tioman Resort the day before!!) Outstanding cleanliness throughout whole guest house. The use of quality branded shower heater, toilet bowl, basin, taps, bidet, aircond compliment the whole stay experience. Daphne and... More

Booked this guest house which recevied good ratings from the travellers. We are not regret with our choice as the location is perfect, which is walking distance to most of the eatery places in our wish list, and it is just another block away from the popular Jonker Street. However, you need luck to get a parking space if you... More
