I had booked 2 rooms in Santiago Resort through Cleartrip for 5 adults for a 3 nights stay. We were in for a rude shock when we reached the resort around 4pm on 25th July by prepaid taxi. The guy at the reception told us that due to off season the resort has zero occupancy and they are moving us... More

We first visited Santiago in 1996 and just never got around to going back.David and Paul were still serving drinks and food but Orlando had just recently retired. The Staff, old and new, are just an absolute joy and the food/drink was as good as before. The Head Chef Joseph and his Team will make you any meal you want,... More

I read all the wonderful reviews about Santiago Resort and booked my room there. The pictures are quite misleading. The otel looks more like a private apartment. The rooms are basic.. Breakfast is very basic with limited choice. The fans in the open air restaurant area where they serve breakfast dont work. You have to sweat it out and eat.... More

We have been going back to Santiago since 3 years. It is a small hotel inside a narrow lane off the main Baga road. We used to walk back even at 4 in the morning without issues though. The staff make you feel at home and is wonderful. They are the key to this hotel's niceness. The rooms are clean,... More

We stayed for 3 days here in May 2014. We got a good discount on cleartrip. The Hotel is nice and decent cant say beautiful. Location is good. Its on baga road. Breakfast is average. They served 2-3 indian dishes along with bread and tea/coffee. Staff is friendly. The rooms are bit small bt decent enuf for a short stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Santiago Hotel in Baga, Goa for 5 nights around Easter 2014. Our last visit to this hotel was 8 years ago and we were impressed that most of the staff were still there. As many reviewers have stated, Santiago Hotel is a home away from home. Our Room #168 was well positioned and... More

The hotel's pictures on the website are all enhanced to beautify. It is less than an average hotel, the TV was not working, the water bottles seal were broken. Air conditioner did not function properly. Breakfast spread was good, thats it, the quality was not the best in the world. Location of the hotel is also not the best in... More

Second time visiting the Santiago. Last visit was December 2013. Amazing once again. Staff are fab and can't do enough for you. Went with a friend who have never been to India, and she loved it! We organised our own trips out as the agency's in hotel are pricey. Went to Palolem via taxi and stayed in a beach bungalow.... More

Only stayed here for one night, at the end of a trip around South India. Bit of a trek to our room - couldn't use the balcony as outside was a nosiy building site. Room itself was very spacious, big comfortable bed, efficient air-con and good bathroom. Judging by the noticeboards, seems to be a package holiday hotel for UK... More
