The service at the Palmarinha Hotel is the best i have received in my life! It's unbelievable how nice and friendly and caring and professional the staff are here. They are mainly the reason why i want to return. The room was nice, air conditioned, free tv channels, fridge, full-length mirror, lots of plug sockets, satisfactory beds, a balcony, lights,... more

We stayed at the Palmarinha for 2 weeks in April and enjoyed our stay throughout. The hotel has all the facilities that you are likely to want. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff who completed their tasks in an efficient and friendly manner. We had stayed at this hotel in 2007 and the service has improved from its... more

Completely agree with previous reviews. Stayed in numreous Goan hotels over the years, and although first impression upon arrival may not rate this as one of the smartest, you will soon we bowled over by the freindly, efficient, curteous, helpfull staff. If you enjoy peace and quite{ although not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Calengute,] then you will... more

On approach to the palmarina you instantly think rough and dismal, until you enter the grounds where you are warmly welcome by staff who are so polite, freindly and helpful. There are 3 steps to reception and you can access all 3 lifts via the corridors to all 4 levels ,ideal for the disabled as my wife has RA .... more

After spending 4 weeks in Calangute we went back to the UK only to return 3 weeks later, only this time we went to the Palmarinha resort, and were really delighted with the rooms ,the staff, the breakfast, and the restaurant. We really had a great time and would definately go back again. more

Palmarinha Resort is a mid-sized budget hotel catering, when I was there, mainly to UK package tourists. Lots of pale, well-nourished flesh on display around the pools. The hotel's located a little outside of Calangute, surrounded by farmland, and with pleasant views around. A fifteen-minute walk into Calangute and another ten or fifteen minutes to the ocean. They run a... more

Just returned from the Palmarinha resort, our first (but not the last) visit to Goa. After a horrible flight with Monarch (never again) the airport at Goa is a hive of hustle and bustle with every body trying to take your bags and then hand thrust out saying"one pound coin please", we were put in a 'COACH!' I expected Sid... more

This review is long pending as we made the trip on 26th Jan long weekend. There were two families of us, including 4 adults and 3 kids. We booked a 2BR apartment so that we could stay together and enjoy. The rooms fitted our needs perfectly. They were clean and spacious enough, with 3 balconies and typical ameneties, including a... more

Lovely hotel, as many people have already said - the staff are great, really friendly and genuinely want to make your holiday special. The rooms are kept exceptionally clean, with clean towels everyday. The only negative thing - the location isn't great. We didn't particulary like Calangute so spent little time there. Luckily taxi's are always available outside the hotel... more
