we stayed here in both jan 2006 and jan 2007 and found it to be basic but very clean and the staff more and make up for it with there friendliness.stayed in room i5 which is a room facing the nice gardens however others over look waste land.the hotel is a little way out around 20 mins walk to calangute... more

Village royal is in a great position out of the town centre so quiet at night only £1 to town centre in a taxi. Very impressed with the food and drinks very cheap couldnt spend my money.
