Probably the worst hotel in Goa, the service of the staff was very poor and they were rude and unhelpful in everyway possible. Rooms are so basic and unclean and badly need a refurbishment. There are other decent hotels nearby that are 10 times better than the maria rosa for the same price so avoid this hotel at any cost.... more

Although this hotel is hardly luxury it is good for the budget traveller. The swimming pool is always deserted so you can always get a sunbed, the food in the restaurant was fairly good. I have just returned from a holiday at this "resort" courtesy of Saldanha Holidays. It was very poor, dirty and is actually an apartment block where the flats are privately owned which might explain the kitchen sink in the room and the failure to clean the stairways outside the rooms or remove broken airconditioning units etc that had been thrown... more
