I went to Goa for my honeymoon and booked a Deluxe Guest Room for 5 days in Sofala. My first impression about hotel was that it is a decent property. It was near to the Candolim beach and all other north beaches were near by as well. LPK was just 2 mins walk from the hotel. The staff was accomodating... More

We really had an amazing time at the Sofala. The staff were super friendly and really pleasant. We got upgraded to a suite without asking, which really added to the experience . The entire hotel was really charming and beautifully built. The pool was beautiful and you could see the stars on a clear night. The food was very reasonably... More

Stayed here in mid-March as part of a group of 22 including kids. This is a small boutique hotel. Rooms , particularly the Suite , are done up beautifully & tastefully. Staff are excellent, handling a group of our size is not easy-but full credit to them. The hotel is at a quiet location, about a 10minute drive to Candolim.... More

We shifted here from the Taj for two nights, and the location is a bit off candolim, which can be a blessing considering the traffic and noise on the main road. A small property, we were given rooms on the first floor. The whole process of booking the room was easy and efficient where I just called to book and... More

I can't think of a better smelling room or more comfortable bed I have stayed in before.....the hotel design and room layouts are just fabulous....very different from the conventional hotels in goa....it's soothing to the core....away from the maddening crowd....solace for the soul (if only the food quality and taste improved, this would surely be deserving of more than a... We stayed here for two weeks last year and loved it. So, this trip to Goa, we stayed at three places making Sofala the last stop, knowing we liked it. A great location away from the frenetic bustle of Candolim, off the main road through Nerul. The building is lovely and on a human scale, with well appointed rooms and... More
