We stayed here this December and January. The price and location is why I would stay here again when visiting Goa. It is close to Calangute beach and the in-house restaurant is convenient for a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. The staff are friendly. As a budget hotel and value for money it is good.

visited in early october...its verry close to calangute beach..the rooms are simple without any luxury, well ventilated with large windows. AC rooms are also there..the bathrooms are clean, with geyser..in the ground floor there is a small garden and place to hang your wet clothes in one corner..there is also a sitting area where you can eat breakfast or brunch and have... I very nice place to stay - Johnnys Hotel is a smalle place with simple rooms. Cheap and no luxury, but close to the beach and worth the money. The beds are a bit hard, but I travelled alone and put one matress on top of the other :) Very nice staff and Johnny and Maria are fantastic.

I visited Johnny's Hotel in January,2014 with my friends. Here we stayed 2 nights. Johnny's Hotel is a small budget hotel with 10 -12 rooms located just a few minute walk from the beach and the many shops around the market. The room was cleaned but not in good condition. The only best part of this hotel is it located... More

We stayed here at the end of our trip in India and found it to be a pretty good place to finish our time. Rooms are decent size, mostly clean-ish and for the price a good value place. To the point: Would we stay here again? Yeap. The hotel is near to the beach which is great and it is... More

Johnny's is ok. I think it is quite a bit overpriced. I found Johnny's to be quite expensive and dirty compared to the other guesthouse I stayed at further down the beach. The restaurant area is a great place to be social. Close to beach and shopping.

We were charged 800 rupees per night (about £12) for 3 girls staying here. The beach was practically when you stepped out of the hotel. You can get a tuck tuck to Bhaga for 100 rupees from the end of the street. All the staff here were friendly and the place was so quiet I got a decent nights sleep.... More

Quite difficult to find on first try (beware a ‘kind man’ who demands money after showing you there) but this is because it is in a special, quiet location- tucked among locals’ homes, in an environment that is semi-village like and suburban. Johnny’s Hotel’s entrance has lemon-yellow walls and Johnny is helpful. His little reception room is filled with dusty... More
