After travelling around South India, this place was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy Goa. The facilities are great - pool is lovely. The best thing about this place is the staff - they are so friendly, helpful and fun. The restaurant serves super good food - some of the best Indian food we had!Loved this place. The... more

I'm actually two days away from going back to Villa Anjuna! I was there in April 2009, and I'm going back again now! This is the third time I'm going to this hotel. Ever since the first time I stayed here back in 2007, I can't think of staying elsewhere if I'm in Goa. Love the place, love the staff,... more

My friend and I stayed for 3 days in Villa Anjuna in November 2008. It's not a big hotel, with a swimming pool (nice to have a swim there), internet facilities, and best of all: a superb staff at reception!!! My friend's birthday was during our stay there, so they gave to her a present: a bouquet of flowers which... more

Villa Anuna was very popular. It was fully booked wen we went in the begining of april 2009. This hotel is spaced out, so some rooms are a little walk from the pool and bar. We had the opportunity to upgrade to a room next to the pool and it was worth the extra couple of pounds. For such a... more

May 3, 2009 | Trip type: Family

Our third visit to Villa Anjuna, my family's favourite, almost synonymous with a Goan holiday. The property continues to be well maintained, the pool is cleaned once or twice a day and the front office, room service and house keeping staff are as warm as ever. A couple of additions. A projector has been fitted up in Cafe Pluto, so... more

This place was a good cheaper option. Rooms were clean enough and ours was rather spacious. The best part was the staff who were so helpful and accomodation. Sylvester in particular was on the ball and met every request. Location was great, close to beach, restaurants and shops. more

We stayed at the Villa Anjuna for 3 nights in December 2008. The room was spacious with a balcony that faced out to the house next door. We had been offered a room that faced the pool, but they played fairly loud music in the pool area most of the day, and we wanted something quieter. The bed was a... more

I arrived at Villa Anjuna and it was exactly as I expected having read the reviews. It is a pleasant, backpackery type of place...but with the added extras of feeling very safe and secure, a room with a balcony over looking the pool, the pool itself, 24 hour cafe/bar and 24 internet access. The staff were friendly and helpful and... more

We were due to stay at Anjuna Villas for 5 nights but as soon as we arrived and saw the shabby rooms and unclean pool we went straight on the Internet to find another place for nights 2-5. We had reserved 2 rooms at R2000 each plus taxes. The sheets on the beds in both rooms looked like tablecloths or... more
