I stayed in Anjuna on my own just for a couple days...I had a lovely time at Martha's! Was a safe, relaxing and enjoyable stay for a gal travelling in India solo. Martha always greeted me with a smile. The whole family was very helpful and kind. The location was great. Just a short walk to the beach and anywhere... More

We didn't stay at Martha's but had their fabulous breakfast. The place is located in a little lane and surrounded by trees. Absolutely fantastic! The food was even better. We also enjoyed talking to Mabel. Highly recommend!

My fiancee and I stayed here for 10 days around the New Year's and had some fantastic experiences here. The guesthouse is family-run, they are very, very friendly, lovely people, super-forthcoming, very professional and you can rely on them on just about anything you might need. The guys even allowed me to use their land lines in their private home... More

My boyfriend and I stayed two weeks before Christmas and loved It. The room was tidy but basic and included a terrace, bathroom with hot water and wardrobe. We had looked at five other guest houses around Anjuna and Vagator and felt this was the best value. Mabel, Martha and her husband are great hosts and make EXCELLENT breakfast, especially... More

we didn't stay at Martha's as we were booked in elsewhere, however we came here for breakfast one morning and now we can't stay away! The hot, strong filter coffee is so tasty and fresh it is the perfect pick me up in the morning and then the choice for breakfast, you are spoiled. Eggs any way you like them... More

We booked one night at Marthas but ended up staying three. The breakfast was so good and cheap!! I had the bacon roll and green tea every morning - which was delicious!! My partner had something different each day - pancakes, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, all of which he thoroughly enjoyed. Run by a lovely, kind and helpful family with... More

Average food, slow service with most of the food items being served are picked up from the market like juices, jams, etc. Go only if firstly you have a lot of time and then you can stand oily breakfasts.

Found this place on Lonely Planet and was rated very highly for breakfast but to our dismay it turned out to be nothing better than barely average. The filter coffee was the only good part of the meal and the waffles and pancake that we'd ordered was very average and terribly overpriced.

The room was filthy and dark, with old furniture and really disgusting toilet. Noisy, run by quite unfriendly family. We paid 3.000 rps per night (3 times more than other places) and had to book and pay ahead. We left after only 3 days even if we paid for a whole week. Do not go!

Until and unless you're willing to shed your pockets empty to stay at the fanciest of places available, 'Martha's Breakfast Home' is your place. Spacious villas covered with trees bring in a more natural feeling to the place. We were seven who stayed there for 4 days, and extended our tour for another day for two reasons, the first obvious...
