My boyfriend and I were on a road trip early 2015, and we found ourselves in Luverne, AL late one night. Without a place to stay we drove through the downtown and stumbled upon the delightful Camellia House. As we walked up the ramp to the front door we were greeted by two beautiful Maine Coon cats, we are both... More

We stayed one night at the Camellia House on 2/28/15. We were visiting family nearby and needed a place to rest our heads. Kathy was extremely accommodating, the room was very clean and the bed was beyond comfortable. A great, very comfortable and quiet nights sleep was followed by an amazing breakfast the next morning. The breakfast included fresh coffee... More

We were staying in the area to watch a college football game and the b and b was in a great location. The house was beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere. The owners Kathy and Tim were so friendly and welcome you to their home like family. Kathy made us a wonderful breakfast and loved to visit with the... More

My wife and I travel from Tennessee to Florida twice a year. We would split our trip into 2 segments, staying in Montgomery. We decided to drive an extra 45 minutes and try Camellia House. JACKPOT! Camellia House was just like being home. The breakfast was icing on the cake. From now on, our stop will be Camellia House.

I showed up unexpected and was welcomed like family. Kathy & Tim have turned a lovely "Old Lady" into charming, friendly place to rest one's weary head. Winter Storm 2014 stranded me on icy roads and I was treated to a very comfortable bed and a delicious full breakfast - even though I was the only guest and not expected.... More

We just returned from our second stay with Kathy and Tim over the holidays. We stayed in the Hydrangea room which was nestled in the back of the house. We loved the extra privacy and the TV cabinet situated across from the foot of the bed. The bathroom was spacious. Kathy's breakfasts are scrumptious--fresh fruit cup followed by eggs to... More
